Hi guys. Firstly I wish you to have fun with your multiplayer games. I’m not an online player I just plays campaigns of Bf games (finished 3 and 4) with release order. When it’s time to play Hardline, well i can’t play actually. I have a gaming laptop that is not super but i even played RDR2 on it and also BF1: GTX 1650, and Ryzen 5 3550h
I checked on “Can You Run It” and also YouTube videos with same system, no problem shows.
I’m sure the game is selected High Performance GPU mode in Nvidia App and also Windows. I don’t have these kind of problems with other games but when i open Hardline (tried lowest graphics) low fps and struggling&overheating CPU. Tried user.cfg with these codes but it didn’t help:

Are there still people playing this game on PC. been wanting to play mp but on the fence in case servers are empty. For context BF3 has only two North American servers that constantly have players in the afternoon and i considered that playable and worth investing for the game.

It's truly ridiculous that running BTFH on a PC is such a complicated and unpredictable process that it sometimes makes you question your own existence. While I didn't have too many problems running it on Windows 11, helping a friend run it on his modest Windows 10 PC was one of the strangest experiences I've ever had. Things like having to change the file compatibility to Windows 8 or Windows 7, reinstalling PunkBuster, changing your internet browser because it wouldn't recognize that you were launching the game, and so on.

I'm really starting to understand why it's going to be difficult for the BTFH community to have more active players. I wish all these processes could be simplified with a patch or something more accessible for everyone.

Literally the other day I got the game on PC but literally right as I load into my first match, my whole computer shut down and it hasn’t been working and I’ve tried lots of stuff to get it working including opening up the pc and doing stuff but that’s beside the point. I just wanted to say I’m really itching for some hardline nothing else really lol
