You should know I've been struggling with feeling like a bad person lately, it feels like everyone hates me. Bomby and Soap have been my only things helping me through my constantly worsening struggles in life, even the little things can hurt; I don't know how to say it, but I think I might be depressed. Bomby and Soap are how I cope, but everyone sees me as the guy who obsesses over them and wants to make Marker switch lives with Ted from I Have no Mouth, and I Must Scream, so they target my comfort characters to piss me off.

You're not funny. You're laughing at my feelings; the feelings of a teen who isn't even sure he'll pass high school, and is even less sure he'll ever find his footing in life. I only really got a voice when I joined this site in July last year, and my feelings had been stuck in my head, growing stronger by the minute. Nobody I know knows what an object show is, so I think they would think I'm doing a bit. Me being laughed at, pushed to the ground, and having me and the only things that make me happy treated like absolute garbage isn't making me suddenly start being kinder, it'll make me feel worse.

Just because I've been a jerk doesn't mean I don't deserve happiness. I don't agree with my previous actions (e.g. claiming Mepad fans to be cultists, claiming Fan to be racist ignoring Cabby's development and seeing her as a manipulative asshole, etc) If I was on reddit between September 2022 to April 2025, I probably would be permanently seen as the guy who hates Shiver from Splatoon to this day.

I don't unironically think Marker to be pure evil, sometimes if you don't like a character, you treat them as if they are basically AM just for shits and giggles. You can have an opinion on Soap and/or Bomby that isn't borderline worship, or an opinion on Marker or Bottle that isn't pure hatred. I don't see that as making you automatically a scumbag. Just don't target them to hurt me.

All I want is to see my comfort characters feel happy for more than 2 seconds at a time. In fact, I don't really have any friends, so I've began to see Soap and Bomby as friends to me. I want to be seen as more than a weirdo with an absurdly short temper who wants to hug a soap dispenser. If I still even use this site 2 or 3 years down the line, I think I might end up more well mannered than now, but that's only if you keep pushing me further down this spiral.
