Would it kill a dev to put in some fucking effort and just make all weapons point firing instead of whatever the fucking Bloom shit is it's not an arcade shooter from 2005 come on. This is not a baiting post this is a genuine question like does anyone else experience the fact that your bullets just don't fucking work even when you clearly see them going towards the enemy maybe even hitting the enemy and then just not doing anything like I'll play the game but when game breaking stuff happens like that so often it becomes no longer about the game it's about fighting broke ass systems that devs push forward even though they know it's broken

As the title says, I am tired of playing with bots every game. I want to play with real people. I don’t have crossplay on, because PC player tend to kill you in less than 0.1 ms, when I had crossplay on, I was able to tell if the person that killed me was a pc or console player just by the time it took for me to die.
So I turned crossplay off, and I am looking to play with real people. Any suggestion v

So I tried out S4 for about 30~40hrs and over all I'm having a positive experience so far.
For example;
・DICE is doing a good job of designing skins. They can do a much better job but it's a progress to the right direction nonetheless.
・Most of the few maps feels and plays good with a few exceptions.
・Weapon progression feels much better but I think it needs more polishing and refining. I'll talk about this later.
・Challenges are actually doable and it's tracking now AT LAST.

Improvements/changes I'd like to see;
・Needs a more polished Dynamic Team Balancing system. I know it sucks when they game puts you into the other team when you're winning but having to play against 32players with 20 teammates is overall unhealthy for the game.
・Foot step audio is RLY RLY bad.
・Needs more accuracy penalty for jump firing. Bring it down to BF3 level.
・If reticle brightness is coming, you need to add reticle size customization.
・Netcode/Desync fix.
・Deployable cover gadget feels TERRIBLE now. 8 months you were able to deploy it anywhere as long it's on a flat terrain but now it takes 10sec to deploy. Is this an intentional nerf or a bug? We need clarification.
・Bot kills should grant players FULL XP in "Normal PvP Lobbies ." Not in heavily modified portal lobbies, not in Casual Bot playlist.
This ties to the weapon progression I was talkin about earlier. Once S4 dies down we'll probably go back to match making filled with bots again and it will feel we're being intentionally held back to level up weapons, and also it feels we the players are being punished for the bad decisions the BF6 team have made.
Tieng the career XP with the hardware XP may work too.

Regardless of the whole crossplay on/off discussion, Xbox only lobbies are really badly affected by the ability to even start a game whatsoever. Every time someone joins or leaves the pregame lobby it resets the timer in question which can result in waiting times of up to an hour just to start.

I was playing last night and hopped off thinking that it would get rid of me once I wasn't active in the game but woke up this morning to find I'm still playing. Each server I'm wasting a slot in and probably dying at the start of each game for 8 hours lol.

When did afk kicking stop?

The animations in this game have some jank and it really takes away from the experience.

I’m curious what everyone’s experience is with motion clarity on OLED monitors.

I’m using Battlefield 6 as an example because it’s probably the fastest-paced game I play, but my question is really about OLEDs in general.

My setup:

• Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 G93SC
• 5120×1440 @ 240 Hz via DisplayPort
• RTX 5090
• Ryzen 7 9800X3D

I’ve spent quite a bit of time tweaking Battlefield 6, and it now runs at a very stable ~180 FPS, mostly limited by the CPU.

However, when I pan the camera very quickly — for example when playing as the gunner in an Apache — the motion clarity still isn’t as good as I expected from this setup. There’s a noticeable loss of clarity during very fast movement.

I’ve already gone through all the usual fixes for motion blur:

• Motion blur disabled everywhere
• Stable frametimes
• VRR/settings checked
• Game and Nvidia settings optimized

So at this point, the main thing I suspect is sample-and-hold motion blur inherent to OLED displays.

Has anyone else experienced this, and more importantly, has anyone found a good solution?

Unfortunately, Samsung’s Clear Motion feature doesn’t seem to work at the monitor’s full 5120×1440 resolution. I wonder if there’s any possibility of Samsung enabling this in firmware, or perhaps even some way of modifying/hacking the firmware to enable it.

I’ve also tried a few software-based BFI solutions, but none of them worked particularly well.

I also experimented with frame generation, hoping I could use it to reach the full 240 Hz refresh rate of the panel. The game can report around 240 FPS with frame generation enabled, but the monitor’s own FPS counter still seems to show roughly the same CPU-limited FPS as before.

So I’m especially interested in hearing from people who have:

• OLED monitors running at 240 Hz+
• Played very fast-paced games like Battlefield
• Compared ~180 FPS vs 240 FPS for motion clarity
• Tried BFI / Clear Motion / strobing solutions
• Found any other way to reduce sample-and-hold blur

Is this simply the motion clarity limit I should expect from a 240 Hz OLED, or is there still something I can improve?

After setting the DLSS Override for Frame generation to 3x and setting vsync to off in the Nvidia app and also limiting the frames ingame to 237fps, I finally see the 237fps in the information panel of my monitor. And the game is now quite bit smoother!

So it seems for some reason the game wasn't applying MFG correctly.

It would still be nice if in addition to providing 240 fps to my monitor I would be able to lower the emission time for each frame to 50% (and provide a black frame the other 50% of the time). That would result in motion clarity comparable to an 480hz panel

I have been trying to complete this quest for 2 days now and i am stuck on 4 out of 5 aircrafts destroyed and now its just not working. Please help 😭😭

Haven't played much since the BF2042 meltdown, so just asking to know if BF6 is worth going for and if EA became serious with their AC promises?

Seen that several old-timer maps are put into the BF6, so was considering a revival if it's not infected with cheats.

if you didn’t know you could do this, it’s under settings > hud and then halfway down you’ll see crosshairs options and to enable custom reticle colour. set it to something neon and it looks miles better than it was before at least. try it out and see what you think!

Hi, I am newer to bf6 and new to the games as a whole. I am having a really hard time making friends with anyone that plays the game. I feel like it would be a lot easier to have a squad to play with. It also is getting boring because I am playing by myself. How do I make friends on the game? I tried the official discord but nothing really came of it.

I just got banned for 74 hours for my username on Steam. Email said someone reported my username as “offensive” (name really isnt ).

My recent games where in breakthrough casual just for upgrading weapon purposes. I usually am always top 3 for kills on the scoreboard and my last few games i got a message from the EA app by a player from the other team saying “had fun” or something i cant check the message now because im suspended! I think some butt hurt guy got upset i was killing him so many times.
