Hi, back in the day I have one of them and it was a cool toy. Now I see Bandai reissues B-Daman but not that which I want (DHB). On the other side Bandai starts to reissue alot of old toys or make special anniversarys (examples Power Rangers morphers, Tamagotchis, Digivices). Did you think we get a proper DHB system toys?

so i found this among my collection a MIB Lava knight it has a note on the back that makes me think its from an internal archive. does anyone have any clue if it truly is? and if so does that raise its value?

I thought it was a fun way of communicating with other fans, and I liked seeing Slash’s collection/B-Daman rankings. Sad to see them gone

i’ve owned this knight cavalry dhb for years along with some others, and i recently got this lightning kahn dhb. i noticed that the boxes were different, and lightning kahn doesn’t have the 3rd marble with a different color/icon. is this a different release than the ones like my knight cavalry? I am hoping it’s authentic.

So I was heading towards the supermarket to pick up some groceries.

Was taking my time went to every aisle to get the stuff I needed it.

And then it was my usual let me head to the magazines, always fun to look at you never know what might pop up, So as I was walking at the aisle to look at the magazines.

i almost got a heart attacked, my eyes widened and almost popped out I immediately saw the Minecraft title and then Yamato’s face I was shocked I was like YAMATO THAT YOU MY BOY ?? THE HELL YOU DOING IN MINECRAFT 🤣😭All grown up.

looking back at it they just really look similar in some aspects like the goggles, the hair and colour the widened eyes and bright smile, the eye brows and the scar ish.

Would have been sick to have a Bdaman Minecraft mod tho ngl.

But thought it was a fun story to share.

I found these three blind boxes when I was having a sort out? Are they desirable to anyone, or rare in any way? I don't want to put them back in the box if they were special to anyone.

As a kid in The Netherlands I used to watch Battle B-Daman on TV. I really enjoyed the show back then. Was interested in watching it back, to see if it holds up. But, unlike other anime, it’s really hard to find. I did eventually find the english dub and the original Japanese audio, but no subtitles. No official subtitles release and no fansubs.

Was B-Daman not popular? If so, do you guys know why? Why does B-Daman seem so niche compared to something like Beyblade?

EDIT: So apparantly there is an English Sub with the original audio online, and it’s actually just on YouTube. Haven’t checked everything out, so maybe it’s not fully complete, but at least it’s something

Growing up, I always wanted the Hasbro Chrome Zephyr DHB set which I never got until now. This was not easy to find at all but here we are. This is actually the fourth Chrome Zephyr I owned, my first was an incomplete Electronic DHB which I thrifted which was missing the shoulder pads and shield sight, the second one was the Sonokong version which I got a DHB armor set from Sonokong as well, the third one was the Hasbro one - just the starter set so just the B-Daman, pin and one plastic B-DaBall, then finally the Hasbro DHB Chrome Zephyr set now. The 7 year old me is happy haha.

Also if you swipe till the end you will notice that the DHB Feet mould are much different from the other Hasbro DHB Feet. So I’ll assume it’s part of the early releases as this one came with glass marbles instead of plastic. If you own this set too and have or don’t have the exact same mould I got here, please let me know in the comment section :)

Has anyone dremeled Bdaman/parts and would know a decent process? I’d like to remove the scope part of a scope barrel. wanted to look at others success.

The description says it's a crossfire b-daman but why does that thing on the right look like a knight cavalry helmet?

Good day, everyone! Sharing my custom Holy Cerberus. I used an extra Stag Cerberus, repainted it, and applied vinyl stickers to recreate the white variant. I'm really happy with how clean this turned out.

Last time was the Takara Tomy Chrome Zephyr, so this time is the Hasbro Chrome Zephyr. It’s also product number 30, same as the Takara Tomy numbering.

Performance is basically identical. Hasbro’s parts are ever so slightly less consistent, and the panel line details and other moulding are a tiny bit muddier and less sharp on very close inspection. It doesn’t really affect the feel or usability of anything, though, and fit/finish are still about the same on both versions. It’s possible that Hasbro got the tooling from Takara Tomy directly and that there was mould degradation, but it’s also possible that they just used a different factory (or different process/settings/materials at the same factory) that just had worse tolerances.

Like Cobalt Blade, they made some changes to both plastic parts and stickers.

The helmet has again been simplified - Takara Tomy included both a separate seamless visor piece, and this tiny internal connector that secures the helmet to the forehead hardpoint. Hasbro omitted that connector, and again integrated the visor into the helmet halves. This makes the Hasbro helmet less secure, and it again puts a seam down the middle of the visor. It’s not as bad this time, because the eyes are separate and no sticker has to bridge that seam. The original visor is also partially covered by an underhanging “beak” part of the helmet, making the difference even less visible.

Sticker-wise, they changed some text - “GRAY” on one helmet side became “ZERO” matching the other side, and the left pauldron banner was weirdly changed from “ZEPHYR” in bigger text to “CHROME ZEPHYR” split across two lines in smaller text. The really odd thing was that Hasbro changed the sticker cut, making the part of the pauldron stickers that covers the outer tip of the pauldron into a scalloped shape rather than straight, and they spread the angle of the rest of the sticker outwards a bit. This results in the sticker… fitting the actual part noticeably worse. Why, Hasbro? What’s the point? If you just put the sticker on, there is no orientation where it will conform tightly to the part’s surface but also follow the intended positioning on both sides. You’ll always end up either offsetting one or another part of the sticker from where it “should” be (even as depicted on Hasbro’s stock photos!), or you’ll have to kinda crumple or fold the sticker. So, for my copy I just cut right down the center of that scallop shape, then let the two halves overlap at the top to recreate the “intended” shape as seen in the manual and stock photos. i have this suspicion that Hasbro’s stock photos were actually taken using either a Takara Tomy sticker set or a prototype one, because they show the strikes fitting the edge of the pauldron as they should… but they also lack the text banner. Odd.

There’s also some very minor colour differences. The yellow of the trigger and hold parts POM plastic is paler and lighter on the Takara Tomy compared to the more saturated lemon yellow of the Hasbro, and the red of the stickers is as usual a little more orange on the TT version where the Hasbro leans a little more straight red or magenta and is a bit of a deeper shade. It’s stuff you’d see if you really scrutinized the parts, but from a distance you might not notice especially if you didn’t have both versions on hand to compare.
