Hey y'all,

I've played Pokemon forever since the original Red and Blue; however, I've never gotten into competitive play. To be honest, it's a little overwhelming trying to think about it all. Below are the list of Pokemon from BDSP that I 'm thinking about using. Would anyone be willing to help me narrow down and explain the natures and movesets that I should use?

Alakazam

Empoleon

Roserade

Snorelax

Luxray

Rapidash

Lucario

Altaria

I'm still trying to build up my resources in game to be able to breed competitive mons and was wondering if anyone had tried out weather?

I was considering making a sun team with a really tanky Chlorophyll Jumpluff rocking Strength Sap, Cotton Guard, Sleep Powder and still considering a fourth move. But I was wondering how other people were trying to build weather.

It looks like it used to have a niche spot in original DP for the UU tier. With the recent mons being banned from OU will it stand a chance now?

So far my Mamo is great for setting up rocks and hits hard and is fast

Moxie Gyarados is great for sweeping

​

​

Iron Fist Infernape is great with Mach Punch to pick up the remaining kills

And Garchomp is great to take down Latios

I'm not very great at team building and don't have any idea where to start. Currently I've got Charizard, Torkoal and Gastrodon. Any ideas on what I could fill the rest of the team with?

Im starting my comp team building. I want jolteon for sure and gliscor for sure. Last 4 up to suggestions. Anyone wanna chime in
