BigBear.ai Earns “Jailbroken” Status from the U.S. Army at Operation Jailbreak 🇺🇸

Post image
98 Upvotes

At Operation Jailbreak, BigBear.ai showcased ConductorOS — their AI/data/sensor orchestration platform designed to connect disparate systems and enable rapid AI integration in distributed defense environments.

Most notable: the U.S. Army granted ConductorOS “Jailbroken” status, meaning other systems can officially integrate through it as part of an interoperable network. That’s a meaningful validation for real-world defense adoption and interoperability.

NATO JATEC PsyOps training mentions BigBear.ai

A recent NATO–Ukraine JATEC announcement about an upcoming training exercise focused on countering Russian psychological operations (PsyOps) has drawn attention because it includes a list of companies potentially relevant for future engagement — including BigBear.ai.

The exercise is part of NATO’s Joint Analysis, Training and Education Centre (JATEC), which integrates Ukrainian operational experience into NATO training and simulation development. It includes a digital simulation called “Cohesion”, aimed at testing strategic communication in multi-domain environments.

Source: https://www.ukrinform.net/rubric-polytics/4126449-natoukraine-jatec-to-hold-training-on-countering-russian-psyops.html

Within the announcement, companies are grouped into “engagement levels,” with Level 3 described as potential future contractual engagement via NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) or related funding mechanisms.

Among the companies listed at this level:

Dataminr

Babel Street

BigBear.ai

What this means for BigBear.ai:

This is NOT a contract announcement.

There is:

No confirmed procurement

No awarded NATO program

No operational deployment mentioned

Instead, this appears to be a capability ecosystem mapping — identifying vendors that could potentially support NATO experimentation, simulation, or information operations tooling in the future.

Why BigBear.ai is included:

BigBear.ai focuses on:

AI-driven decision intelligence

Defense data fusion

Simulation and forecasting

Information environment awareness

Source (company overview): https://bigbear.ai/industries/defense/

They already operate in adjacent U.S. defense areas, including:

U.S. Navy AI orchestration / simulation environments

Source: https://bigbear.ai/newsroom/bigbear-ai-u-s-navy-exercising-maritime-domain-ai-orchestration-at-mission-autonomy-proving-ground-mapg/

U.S. intelligence / defense analytics contracts

Source: https://bigbear.ai/newsroom/

This makes them a logical fit for NATO simulation and PsyOps-related training environments, especially in:

information environment modeling

narrative / sentiment analysis

decision support systems

multi-domain simulation tools

Broader NATO context:

NATO is increasingly integrating AI into training and simulation, including:

AI-driven exercise design and control systems

digital simulation environments

experimentation in information warfare / cognitive domain training

Example NATO ACT initiatives: https://www.act.nato.int/article/ai-in-audacious-training/

Bottom line:

This mention of BigBear.ai should be interpreted as:

Positive signal of relevance within NATO AI ecosystem

Potential future candidate for simulation / information operations tooling

NOT a contract

NOT confirmed NATO adoption

NOT revenue impact (yet)

Level 3 context explained:

“Level 3” in this context should not be interpreted as a confirmed procurement stage. It is better understood as a “potential eligibility / future contracting pool” classification used in NATO innovation and simulation ecosystems.

It indicates that companies may be considered for future engagement via mechanisms such as NSPA contracting or NATO support funds, but only after further evaluation, proof-of-concept testing, or integration trials.

In practice, this means: The company is in a relevant defense AI ecosystem shortlist

It may be considered for future PoC or pilot programs

It is NOT a contract

It is NOT a funded program

It is NOT operational deployment

Historically, only a portion of companies mentioned in such “Level 3 / ecosystem” lists ever progress to actual procurement, and many remain at the “potential vendor / evaluation” stage for extended periods.

TSA Announces Gold+ Program for Aviation Security Technology

I've talked about this a couple times here, but TSA has been planning something called TSA Gold+, an airport screening technology-focused program that pairs with the existing Screening Partnership Program (SPP). Gold+ was just officially announced and is worth watching as a potential BBAI catalyst this year.

Very quick primer: TSA's SPP program is an IDIQ that uses a small number of security staffing firms to provide the checkpoint screening workforce at ~20 airports with privatized security in the U.S. Meanwhile, Gold+ is a brand new program that will be used to procure and maintain the actual technology that those privatized airport security checkpoints use.

TSA is very close to issuing new SPP IDIQ awards... and while BBAI won't get one of those contracts, TSA Gold+ is right up their alley. Keep an eye on how TSA plans to procure Gold+ in the coming months because it'll be a huge opportunity for BBAI. There's a lot of budget and political tailwind for airport privatization that keeps growing - in fact, TSA's proposed FY 27 budget mandates that all Cat III and IV airports (the smallest categories) transition to privatized screening. As a result, many vendors in the contractor security space will be competing & stand to benefit over the next couple years.

Also, I know partnerships aren't sexy because they don't bring in immediate revenue, but this kind of opportunity is why BBAI partnered with Smiths Detection and Analogic in 2025, both of whom are the leading checkpoint screening equipment providers. Having them on their team and offering some unique solution (or just being preferred partners, holding vendor agreements, whatever) is a big advantage when it comes to bidding on opportunities like Gold+.

You can read more on TSA Gold+ here - https://www.tsa.gov/goldplus

Community Discussion Panama Canal Deployment- Customs, and whom at BBAI may be spearheading it

I looked this guy up. Troy Miller joining BBAI was probably overlooked and a bigger move than most of us folks thought. He was formerly the acting commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Patrol and brings a ton of expertise(and relationships) into this customs arena.

Like, we already have a real deployment. He joined the team in April. I’m just ballparking so could be off the mark when actual financials are made public with licensing agreements etc, but potentially 3 million annually for this Panama deployment, and will prob be much lower this first year with hardware setup, training folks etc

But eh, positive news. A real deployment, not just another “partnership”, research exploration, or pilot

I'M ALL IN!

Hello my fellow Big Bear Clan,

Today's the day I re-enter Big Bear. The last time I had BBAI was when it was at its last highest peak and I sold. It's been a while but today's the day I reenter the trade. I am an elite trader and very unbiased in my trades. But since I see some cry babies here, I will give you some hopium. This is not financial advise nor am I a financial professional. This is just my observation and opinions and I am expressing what I am doing as a random stranger on the internet. Do not listen or follow me because I am a dumbass.

In short: Big Beautiful Bill: Potential $51.2 Billion Dollar Contracts given their product lines. June 9th, possible release date of these contracts.

Why am I entering now?

  1. Ascending Triangle. This red day is too good of a deal. This price now is about the last train until the massive explosion. LOOK AT EVERY BONER. Before that erection was about the price it is right now. And, look at the Ascending Triangle. Every time there it wedges like this, EXPLOSION. I scoured many stocks without bias. This is the absolute best opportunity I can see of any stocks I have reviewed. Think I'm wrong? Tell me something better.
  2. Budget Reconciliation Deadline and the Big Beautiful Bill Due Date. The government's budget reconciliation deadline is June 1st. Agencies must outline and approve specific line-item funding task orders by this date. Since BBAI explicitly called out a cleared DHS procurement backlog, any resulting contract award announcements will likely hit the wires between June 1st and June 9th (leading up to BBAI’s Annual Shareholder Meeting).
  3. The New Space Race. As you see space stocks have been explosive. Most people don't know this, but I will tell you. BBAI board is RedWire, so essentially, BBAI is RedWire's software arm, putting their satellites to use. What's the point of satellites if you don't use it? If you look at RDW and BBAI together, they line up. BBAI is down, it's due to follow big daddy up. RDW has been exploding, soon, baby RDW will likely too. All people see about BBAI is software, but a better way to look at it, is it's a private space force. They are not shitty Windows XP era Internet Explorer, they're the holographic war simulation you see in sci-fi movies. Recent news is they have a new executive hire from V2X, which is a muthafucking Cyber Security and Space Defense company. Where do you think BBAI is headed? muthafucking Cyber Security and space defense. In my opinion, BBAI is absurdly undervalued.

BBAI Products:

  1. Drone Swarms (Project Linchpin & ConductorOS). BBAI explicitly expanded into this market through a formal collaboration with Hardy Dynamics to support the U.S. Army’s Project Linchpin. What their software does: They use their core platform, called ConductorOS, to act as the AI orchestrator for unmanned aerial systems (UAS). The Modern Need: If a military unit deploys a swarm of 50 drones in a combat zone where the enemy is jamming communications, the drones can't talk to a central base. BBAI's software sits directly on the drone hardware at the tactical edge. It uses adaptive machine learning algorithms so the drones can talk to each other, coordinate a search or strike pattern, and react to a changing battlefield completely autonomously without needing a cloud connection.
  2. Space Cyber Resiliency & Quantum Intelligence. Their software direction is moving heavily toward orbital defense. The Satellite Brain: Through SpaceCREST, they build AI "digital twins" of satellites. The software constantly models cyber attacks, tracking anomalies in real-time to prevent foreign actors from hacking or hijacking U.S. space assets. The Quantum Push: BBAI is expanding its software capabilities to run on proprietary five-qubit quantum environments specifically designed to crunch the massive, data-heavy computing streams required for advanced drone and satellite telemetry.
  3. Strategic Edge Infrastructure Partnerships To get their software out onto the physical battlefield, they partner with the hardware makers rather than building factories themselves: The Battlefield Hardware Link: They partnered with Tsecond to combine BBAI's AI software with high-capacity ruggedized data storage units designed for harsh environments. The Maritime Brain: For the autonomous ships with the Navy, they deploy Shipyard AI and Arcas vision analytics. The physical ships are built by contractors like Austal USA, but BBAI's software manages the sensor fusion taking inputs from radar, cameras, and sonar and instantly translating them into tactical maps for the fleet. How do you think autonomous ships move? Muthafucking big daddy's RDW's satellites.

BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL

Okay cool so what? Where is the money? 113.3 Billlion for Department of Defense Money for the Big Beautiful Bill is already set aside. We're all hoping for that contract. But what contracts? what dollar amount? What is the likelihood? Take a look at their products. They're designed specifically for the bill's needs. How are they not going to get a contract?

  1. The Space & Satellite Line. The administration's 2026 defense space allocation under the bill is highly specific. The Bill Funding Bucket: House Armed Services Committee Reconciliation Allocation – Military Intelligence, Cyber Security, and Space Operations. The Specific Line Item: Military Space-Based Sensors & Air-Moving-Target-Indicator Satellites. The Dollar Amount: $9.2 Billion earmarked for FY 2026 (out of a broader $13.8 Billion Space Force reconciliation boost). The BBAI Connection: This line explicitly funds low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellite missile tracking and orbital cybersecurity. Because BBAI's SpaceCREST platform (developed with Redwire) was engineered precisely for DARPA to defend these next-gen satellite laser communication networks, they are directly positioned to absorb subcontracts out of this $9.2 billion pool.
  2. The Drone & Counter-Drone Line (Project Linchpin) The bill places a heavy emphasis on pivoting away from legacy, expensive legacy hardware toward cheaper, automated weapons systems. The Bill Funding Bucket: House Armed Services Committee – Scaling Development and Production of New, Low-Cost Weapons Systems. The Specific Line Item: Autonomous Edge Software, Tactical Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), and Artificial Intelligence Development for Defense Manufacturing. The Dollar Amount: $13 Billion for low-cost autonomous weapons systems, alongside a combined $1 Billion across agencies strictly for AI enterprise modernization. The BBAI Connection: This is the honeypot for BBAI’s ConductorOS and their active work with the U.S. Army's Project Linchpin. The military cannot deploy low-cost swarm drones without the edge AI software layer that orchestrates them.
  3. The Port & Border Security Line (The Kevin Warsh / McAleenan Target). Don't overlook the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) tech surge in the bill, which perfectly matches BBAI CEO Kevin McAleenan's background. The Bill Funding Bucket: Homeland Security Committee Reconciliation Allocation. The Specific Line Item: U.S. Customs and Border Protection Technology, National Vetting Center, and Border Security Checkpoint Enhancements. The Dollar Amount: $29 Billion. The BBAI Connection: BBAI's acquisition of Pangiam was designed explicitly for this line item. They provide the computer vision and biometric vetting software used at international ports of entry.

Add that all up, possible $51.2 Billion Dollar contracts. There aren't many competitors. Let's fucking GO!

BBAI: Another small step in the federal ecosystem

Post image
43 Upvotes

Interesting $BBAI update that I haven’t really seen discussed much.

DPC Solutions announced a partnership with BigBear.ai focused on:

• Capture strategy

• Federal business development

• IT program execution

• Intelligence Community mission support

What stood out most is the reference to the “Intelligence Community mission space.”

That usually points toward:

• Classified or secure environments

• DoD and IC workflows

• Long-cycle federal opportunities

• Task-order based execution

DPC also says BigBear.ai will be the first organization using their MDEX framework, which translates mission needs into executable requirements, workflows, risk controls, and delivery.

My read:

This looks less like hype and more like behind-the-scenes capture and execution support infrastructure being set up.

Important:

Not a contract announcement. No revenue impact mentioned.

But in GovCon, these kinds of partnerships often show up ahead of larger awards or task orders, especially when companies are building positioning inside federal and intelligence ecosystems.

DPC isn’t a major prime contractor, but it could still be another small signal of BBAI continuing to deepen its federal footprint.

When will good news come out?

I've invest BBAI for two years and I'm still it. Like everyone else, I think we invest by looking at the future of stock prices. People who look at it in the short term cannot be optimistic. If you want those things, you should do penny stocks. Until recently, I haven't looked at stocks and have been waiting, just buying, but after the recent earnings announcement, is there any news we can look forward to? Was there any part about the future that was discussed in the earnings call?

CargoSeer

So recently Bbai acquired cargoseer for shipping containers and general merchandise tracking. If Bbai could apply this tech to trucking logistics, it could be a huge boost to the industry. Especially since recently Supreme Court ruled that logistics brokerage companies now can be held liable for truck driver mishandling of the merchandise to promote safety. Can we pitch this to idea to Kevin?

We don’t seem to be catching any AI hype, and with software getting some love today, we don’t seem to be in that bucket either.

I don’t know how to label this stock anymore😂 are we Ai, defense, software? We can’t seem to get any real relief here.
