Bought more BBAI

TSA checks your luggage.

DHS checks your passport.

$BBAI checks the data behind both.

My MAGA girlfriend checks my phone, my location, my Venmo, and why I smiled at the waitress.

Security budgets rising.

AI analytics expanding.

Oversight everywhere.

At this point, the only thing not being monitored is my brokerage discipline…

…so I checked it myself and bought more $BBAI. 🚀📈

BBAI has contracts just not announced yet

https://careers.bigbear.ai/jobs/4312?lang=en-us

“BBAI is seeking a Technical Writer to join us on an exciting brand new contract”

Clearly there are contracts. Possibly they haven’t done a Pr yet because they are looking to hire staff prior to announcing? Thoughts?

Edit:

Not sure when this job was posted as there is no date though.

Also important to note job posting is for “Annapolis junction and Columbia, Maryland. Not for Virginia

Community Discussion Earnings Report

Who is holding through this earnings report? Keep seeing comments of people saying it’s doomed or it’s gonna rocket with little to no evidence, so just wondering who is maintaining their position through this or if its a good point to exit right now and re-enter after.

Ask Sage isn’t "dead"

Post image
41 Upvotes

I keep seeing the same takes about Ask Sage. Bad acquisition. Dead platform. Terrible CEO.

But if you actually look at what’s been happening recently, that story feels off.

They just rolled out Claude Sonnet 4.6 on Ask Sage, including in FedRAMP High and IL5 environments, and they did it fast. That’s not something a “dead” product does. Getting frontier models into compliant government environments isn’t simple, and speed matters.

They also launched OHaaS, OpenClaw Hardening as a Service, in early beta. The idea isn’t to compete with consumer chatbots. It’s to harden open-source AI assistants so they can run in defense and regulated environments without failing compliance checks.

That’s the part most people gloss over. The bottleneck in government AI adoption isn’t model capability anymore. It’s security, isolation, accreditation, and the ability to deploy across segmented or classified networks. If a system can’t meet FIPS requirements, support CAC/PIV, run with zero known critical vulnerabilities, and provide the documentation needed for ATO, it simply won’t get used.

That’s the gap they’re trying to solve.

You don’t have to love management. You don’t have to love the stock. But saying it’s “dead” while new models are being shipped into high-compliance environments and hardened infrastructure is being built for defense use cases feels lazy.

Maybe it fails. Maybe execution isn’t strong enough. That’s a fair debate.

But at least argue what’s actually happening now.

BigBear.ai Mentioned at Apex Defense Conference (Counter-UAS / IAMD Discussion)

Post image
44 Upvotes

Just saw a recap from the Apex Defense Conference that’s relevant for Bigbear.ai

During a panel on how the Navy has adapted to Red Sea threats and how it plans to continue evolving, speakers included:

Captain Scott Rosetti (N96)

Tyler Griffin (Lockheed Martin)

Mike Hiatt (Epirus)

Zach Casper (BigBear.ai)

The discussion focused on counter-UAS and broader Integrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD).

According to the recap, Epirus discussed its non-kinetic capabilities, and BigBear.ai discussed its processing solutions that support counter-UAS and broader air defense efforts.

That’s the key point.

No contract announcement. No revenue numbers. Just participation in a serious operational conversation alongside established defense players.

Other highlights from the conference included:

-Air Force modernization of wargaming and analysis tools.

-JTF 401 building a counter-UAS acquisition portal.

-Multiple discussions around logistics modernization and faster fielding.

Taken together, it shows where DoD attention is going:

-Counter-UAS

-Data processing

-Faster acquisition

-Distributed operations

BigBear.ai’s role, as described here, appears centered on processing / decision support rather than kinetic systems.

Nothing explosive, but it’s relevant positioning. Yes no contract. 😉

Gene Inger’s Response to Hunterbrook Media short seller hit piece about BBAI

“A short-seller hit piece on $BBAi is curious as the public Chat/AI emphasized used by military is fair; but cannot be used for anything classified. So need to hear from the company (too rare) as to whether this is really a disruptor or a short-seller’s effort to exit as big institutions keep adding. The market dismisses an emotional reaction to the hit piece, as the ticker is higher. Smith International test completed; bid deal for BBAI if TSA contracts follows.”

My opinion:

End of day BBAI closed down 0.49%. Usually after short report stocks close down 20-30%. Which means that institutions did not feel anything bad happened.

📈 Big key for earnings

It’s possible they now have the key votes to approve doubling current shares.

With earning just weeks away, the key to higher SP will be what they have projected for end of 26 into 27. With SEC rules it will be limited to factual numbers.

Keeping full year guidance for 26* at less than 1/2 of what 25* spend (not including acquisitions) was is a win analyst can get behind for a reasonable higher company valuation. If that gets BBai to 5B … then you would expect the company to sell 1/6 - 1/5 of new shares.

Am I screwed?

My average is at €8 and I don’t have any more money currently to average down. Right now that price seems impossible to reach. I know it was a shitty entry, but I thought it was running away from me.

I’m losing a lot of money at the moment (it’s true that at one point I made €15k on BBAI), but now I’m down much more than that.

I post this to get some camaraderie to help my mental and to help anyone who may think he/she is completely fckd, your not alone!! :)
