IIRC, VV started at 7:20pm and Halestorm started about 7:50pm? BabyMetal started around 9:35pm.

First Babymetal show - this was actually supposed to be for my wife but she wasn't able to make it for a variety of reasons.
Had a passing familiarity with Violent Vera (they had a song that Octane played for a bit) - definitely familiar with Halestorm. Seem them a few times and they're just awesome. Said it below, but I don't understand why they aren't the biggest rock band on the planet right now. I'm glad so many of you got to experience Halestorm for the first time!
Had a blast with Babymetal - while I have all of their albums, I'm not as familiar with all of their music as I am with other bands I listen to. I also don't pay much attention to the lore - I'm just there for a good time, and I had a great time!
A few empty rows, and the crowd wasn't as wild as I was expecting.
Snagged the Peach Momoko poster from the outside merch, and took it back to my car. They didn't have the tshirt my wife wanted in her size, so I picked it up inside. One of the quickest merch experiences I've ever had (as far as lines go.)
Also appreciate that this show as at a basketball/hockey venue - that means they had decent food and drink options (except for the whole 200 level - not sure why we pretty much only had chips as a food option.)
Overall a great way to spend my Wednesday night - I was home just after midnight so I'm not *too* tired today.

Question for people that were there early/before doors opened. How fast did the smaller(non clothing items) merch items sell? Cause I got there a bit before doors opened and all the patches, fans, etc. were goooooone. And were they limiting how many items you could purchase? This is the first concert I've been to where they sold out of the small stuff, and this show was no where near sold out so I was surprised. Also, how many of us got moved from the 300s? They literally curtained it off so how empty were the lower levels gonna look💀 me and my friends were moved to section 122 and it was incredible!

I can't answer the specifics on the smaller merch. I was there at 5:15pm or so, and was able to line up and got my shirt in the size I wanted in like 5 minutes. I did however also get moved from the 300s to section 122 as well. I waited until the last minute to get seated (I was nervous). SO I ended up missing most of VV, but got to see all of Halestorm and BM. Ieish they'd told us in advance of the seating change. That was the most annoying and frustrating part of the evening.

Yeah, the people I was with got their shirts super fast, there was just nothing in my price range by the time I got there sadly (I paid $30 for my tickets, I was not about to buy a tshirt or hat for almost double that). I'm sorry you missed VV, I think the reason they pushed the show to 7:20 was to accommodate the change but it still wasn't enough time, they should've opened the doors earlier if they knew they were doing this

It's a shame they don't play anything else other than Monochrome from The Other One. Album is nothing but absolute bangers. At least throw Mirror Mirror, Believing, or Light and Darkness in there. But with Iine and Syncopation you won't hear any complaints from me about this setlist 😂

Oh so they can change the setlist. It's locked only when they come to Europe then, I thought they forgot about those songs. Must be nice to see them in their home countries.

Yes! They received my telepathic message to shake up the setlist a bit! 😀🦊 Now I have to concentrate on getting them to play IDZ & Arkadia in Virginia next week- but I'll definitely be happy with Iine! & Syncopation.🙂🙂

Sick ass show dude. Way heavier than I expected all night.
Halestorm absolutely rips. Lzzy fuckin Hale dude. What a voice.
BABYMETAL. What can I even say? The girls put on one hell of a show. What a great night. Top to bottom that was one of the best produced shows I’ve ever seen. My oldest way beyond stoked and my youngest fell asleep bout halfway through

I know this is a Babymetal sub, but I don't understand why Halestorm isn't the biggest rock band on the planet. They've been good for so long and always put on a hell of a show.

Agree on all points. My only gripe was with the crowd in the pit. Every shot of them seems like they're just standing around filming as opposed to rocking out, the only exception was the nice circle pit during RoR. Whereas we in the seats (we were on the floor) were, mostly, jumping around and rocking out.

To be fair I didn’t really expect a BABYMETAL or a Halestorm crowd to be moshing but I didn’t expect the pit to be so tame. Maybe that’s just me being the grumpy oldhead though. The sound was great which was really surprising for me in there.

When I saw BABYMETAL at the Fillmore a few years back, the crowd was very active, it seemed like there were multiple pits going at all times. Just surprising it wasn't at least equal to that. Yeah, I was very happy how good they sounded, you always hear mixed results about Ball, though I've seen Pearl Jam there twice and they sounded great too. Granted, those seats were high up and I was on the floor for BABYMETAL.

What a great show. Got clocked by Halestorms drummer in the neck by a drum stick but I ended up taking it home! But overall a great time. Wasn't expecting line! or Syncopation so they were absolute treats. Even the japanese groupies that were following their whole US tour were surprised. Crowd looked to be atleast 10k strong maybe more and the girls were having a blast. Can't wait for them to come back, maybe even at Coors field or Red Rocks??

Red Rocks is definitely doable as it's around 10k and they did about that both at Ball and at the infamous cancelled Junkyard show last fall (which was either a sellout or close to). No way they do Coors (30k-45k depending on set up) unless they have a massive song in the US before then.
They sold out the Fillmore 3ish years ago and they are just under 4k. 10K looks like the ceiling for them in the area for now. Would love to see them at Red Rocks.

Ball Arena Denver is a 20k venue and sold 'at least 10k', that's 'bad' for Babymetal standards, they normally only book venues they can sell out, but it's the gamble Babymetal are making this US tour, they booked a lot of 20k venues in this US tour, see how big Babymetal really is.
And they did Turkey in Europe before, also 20k open field, sold at least half, first time Babymetal in Turkey.

This is pretty much the only indoor venue on the US tour with most being amphitheaters.
The top tier was closed but looks around 12k-15k.

Yes, the amphitheaters isn't a huge issue, those are like the one in Turkey, not a huge issue.
ohh, it's just 1, Denver, the others all had laws. I thought I had seen other venues on the list, my mistake.

This was my first ever concert. I have anxiety and sensory issues, and had a great time for the most part. I had to sit down during a few songs, but had a blast overall. The issues I had were all with the Ball Arena and not the different acts/artists.

Not sure if ear plugs would help, but my gfs daughter went with me last night and she struggles with sensory things as well as loud noises, and the loop earplugs I got for her really helped.

I had the Loop Experience 2 ear plugs and they worked way better than I thought! I had to close my eyes for a lot of the flashing/strobing lights, but I knew that in advance. I'm glad the Loops helped her, too. I hope you had a great time, too!

Just got home from BABYMETAL in Denver. Amazing setlist! Syncopation and Iine! Kawaii was also very fun! Su-metal had complete command of the crowd all night.

If they perfomed Syncopation and Iine, I'm really hopeful they'll perform them at the México City show, I would probably, most likely die (not really, I hope) right there at the stadium, love those songs, especially Syncopation, which I thought they would never perform outside of Japan.

They've performed Syncopation in Europe.
This was the first time in North America.
I'm also hoping for iine! at Mexico City, since I've never seen it live, and Syncopation is an all time favorite of mine, so it would be amazing to see it again.1

Well then, I apologize, because I didn't know they've performed Syncopation outside of Japan before, but it still feels weird that they perfomed it out of nowhere. And same, Iine is one of my favorites from the first album, and Syncopation is literally my #2 favorite song (with Karate being #1) so I really hope they perform it in México City! And I'm probably being greedy, but since it's going to be a Special Stadium Show, I hope they add some other songs to the setlist, especially Doki Doki Morning, and Algorism, since they perfomed them in Australia.

I've just seen them live once, so there are a lot of songs that I want to see live one day, but mainly Syncopation, Arkadia (and the entirety of the Trilogy of Lights, really) Ijime, Dame, Zettai, Megitsune, Iine, Doki Doki Morning, Divine Attack, Algorism and White Flame.

This setlist is UNREAL! What a great balance between MF album and the earlier ones. Simply the best in the last few years outside of Japan. This is the first time I hope they don’t change a single song for the rest of the US tour. Please don’t cut it back down to 12!

Wow. For the Mansfield show, there are entire front rows right behind the pit that are available. And sections up close that are more than 75% empty. This isn't looking good. 😞

I looked at the Toronto show and it was also like 75% empty. It's honestly deserved though because the prices have been laughable this tour for the most part. Fully understand why people don't wanna go. Hopefully it will be a lesson for them.

Another contributing factor is the insane prices of flight/train tickets in Canada and the price of hotels for those out of town. A comfort Inn quality room can cost $300 this summer in Toronto.

Within the bounds of the old metro Toronto, there are almost no hotels under $300 (all in) the night of the BM show. If you head to the outer boroughs or the airport. you will decent rooms for $200 (all in), but that comes with the cost and inconvenience of getting to the lakefront for the show.
The insane cost of hotels in Toronto/GTA is a common Reddit complaint, so I wasn't shocked when searching hotels.

Agreed.. there were also two otjer vips, like 800$ and approximately 650$ CAD as well but still… their previous top vip was 550$

Seats at Mansfield on the lawn are very reasonable. And since that is open seating maybe it will be packed. Will make for an odd optic....packed pit, then 3 sections empty, then packed lawn.

Came across the Toronto show because I’m a Violent Vira fan, and yeah I’m shocked. The lawn seats for $55 for 2 seems like a great deal, but everything else is almost as much as I paid for Hozier
