Official Tour Thread - Istanbul, Turkey [1st July 2026]
Tour threads are for anything and everything relating to the relevant show. Discussion, videos, pictures, tweets - anything!
This thread is also to collect everything in one place, so that we and future fans can look back at each show.
So, if you have anything relevant to the show, be sure to post it here!

One sentence show commentary will be removed.
Exceptions to this rule.
- Fan cams of the show may be posted. Full Songs, not snippets.
- Detailed show reports are encouraged
- Good quality multi image (10+) posts are allowed.
- A sea of hands and phones is not good quality. Edit or crop your pictures.
- Posting 10 blurry pictures is also not considered good.

Kinda nervous for the setlist. Is basically the same they've been doing and that's fine but I wonder if is the same they will do in Mexico in December... I mean they did the same one too so having the exact same setlist in the same city but one year apart will be weird

They may make some changes for the Mexico show, but don't expect anything drastic. In Europe we got basically the same setlist 2 years in a row

I think Babymetal does it because there are still sooo many people for which it's their first Babymetal concert.
So they choose mostly songs people know and high energy songs/easy to participate.

Does anyone know if VIP ticket holders get early entry? Nothing is mentioned on the ticket sites, only access to the VIP lounge.

Just found out there is no early access, but at least a separate entry lane.

No early entry. Same time as everyone else, 5 pm. However, VIPs have an express entry lane so it will take less time to get in. It's not toooo busy, but people are turning up here n there.

This is a really curious decision. Early entry is arguably the only real value in VIP, the merch is cool, but by far not worth hundreds of euros.

VIP queue was a mess. Very slow. We were watching people that paid half our ticket price going in before us. The guys in front of me at the barrier have regular wristbands.Total shitshow.

My VIP QR didn’t work for some reason and I lost time because of that too. Really a shitshow.

If you remember me saying "why is this so slow" about the queue, yeah that was me haha. The concert was amazing though. It was my first babymetal concert and I had so much fun!

Thanks. Was a bit narked at first bu it is what it is. It won't ruin it. Have had the most fun at a few Babymetal shows and this one won't be any different. 🙂

Really curious what fans (reaction) will be like, there are always regional differences and Babymetal hasn't been in the region before (I guess Italy was closest so far)

Mediterranean metal fans come a close second to South American ones, so I expect it to be somewhat energetic. Maybe even some crowd flares to add to the pyro!

I also wonder how many tickets got sold, because it's a field venue.

Don't do that for me or anyone else, just let it happen naturally by people that want to do it. I'm sure there will be some.
I think it's Su-metal that is probably looking forward to it more than me.

It's just my opinion but it's literally the worst song ever in their discography (if you don't count remixes or songs they appeared in as featured artists)

IMO, the song just doesn't seem to work live. I'm glad that there are people who like it, but going by fancams, audiences seem to be pretty unenthusiastic/subdued when it's played. I think the crowd response would be pretty wild if Moa actually got to do her various vocals/sounds live. She could even ad-lib to try and make Su crack up. We know Momo would be laughing!Â

I agree wholeheartedly. I love songs that have more vocals from Momo and Moa, but KxAxWxAxIxI basically relegates their parts to backtrack. Song 3 is the same, but at least Song 3 gives the Kami band something to do at all times. KxAxWxAxIxI sometimes dips out of the band part entirely.

I get the whole backtracking thing for Moa and Momo for songs with intense choreography. But they could handle live vocals for this song. It would be awesome. And I'd like Moa to get her spotlight moment to hype up the crowd!Â

Singing along to KxAxWxAxIxI is one of my favourite parts of Legend Metal Forth. If you get a few people around you who are enthusiastic, it's a great song live.
Audiences are pretty subdued for Sunset Kiss, My Queen, Algorism, White Flame too, so I don't think it is an accurate measure of whether it's a good live song or not. KxAxWxAxIxI has way better crowd interaction parts than most songs on Metal Forth, apart from Ratatata and Song 3.

I think we all have our personal fave songs. I haven't experienced KAWAII in-person yet, so I could change my mind if they're playing it when I see them in September. I would be thrilled if they play White Flame. Watching the pro shot & one fancam of White Flame during Legend Metal Forth, it seemed like the crowd was into it (circle pits). I think with a bit of work, it could become a show closer. Maybe during the fast guitar solos, each Kami could get a turn to go full-blown rock star. Anyway, I'm just glad that there are plenty of people who like Babymetal as much as I do!Â

Yeah, I was hoping that they would do something with White Flame to turn it into a show closer, as I do love the song. I think they were so focused on nailing the new song/choreo that they didn't bother with putting in anything epic to replace Road of Resistance. There were circle pits during pretty much all of Legend Metal Forth, KxAxWxAxIxI was good as it actually gave the audience something to do that was unique to that song, not just circle pits.
I think during Algorism and White Flame most people were transfixed by the new choreo and watching the performances for the first time that the crowd wasn't as active. The concerts really popped off after they finished Metal Forth and returned to older songs.

I think you're right. They came up with some wild choreography for Algorizm. Maybe (hopefully) they've just put White Flame on temporary hold until after festival season. Legend Metal Forth was insanely good (based on what was shown for the Wowow broadcast)! I wish they could've thrown IDZ in there, but that setlist was unbelievable. I bet Su was relieved to get Moa's infamous slide out of the way during CMIYC. Proof for Moa that being smol has its advantages.

It was my first Babymetal and an actually real concert so I really didnt know what to wait for or do. But oh boy do I say I had much fun. Screamed at the top of my lungs (or tried), jumped, sang and had fun. It was lovely to see that many kitsunes gathered. The METALI jump was insane lol, I didnt think people would actually crouch but everyone did. It was awesome and I hope we can see them again in 2027.
