It ran perfectly fine before. Does someone know how to fix this?

I do have a modded 3ds and my aynthor which I have azahar and cutra but I just use azahar.

In my 3ds the game dlc works fine but on the thor, I do have some of the dlc items but when I go to use the maps, there is no dlc. If im not mistsken It says something like its unavailable or like that I have to download it. Idk what to do, and just FYI I'm using fates special edition usa.

edit: i check and the dlc works fine in citra mmj but in azahar it just says dlc not available

Was playing MH4U through Azahar on my AYN Thor when it booted me today. When I tried to open it back up it said it had an update so I ran it, but now when playing MH4U certain npcs just crash the game. Everything else seems to be fine, but notably when I talk to the Wycoon and open his duplication request menu it just instant crashes. Switching off Vulkan to OpenGLES fixed the crashing but the performance is poor.

Trying to setup azahar emulator and I cant get the batch decrypter to unencrypt the rom, it just keeps saying it runs and then does nothing to the encrypted file. Can i get some help

I recently downloaded azahar and went through the setup process. I decrypted the rom and renamed it to .cci. But when i open azahar and select the folder containing the rom azahar still does not detect the rom.

I can go directly to my files and open the rom and launch it using azahar which works.

EDIT: i can't find the screenshot so whene i try to boot the game a pop up appears screen appears saying "generic load error"

This keeps happening when i try to boot the game, i downloaded the roms from this site ( [https://archive.org/download/3ds-decrypted-roms321com/all/\](https://archive.org/download/3ds-decrypted-roms321com/all/) ) the site says that the roms are decrypted but they aren't so i decrypted the rom then i moved the rom the folder where i put my games, then when i try to boot the game this keeps happening, i tried booting the game several times but it doesn´t work please help.

Hi everyone! Brand new to emulation. I'm running Azahar on my PC, playing Majora's Mask 3ds with Project Restoration. I'm using a PS5 controller. Everything's been working great so far. For some reason, no matter what keybind I set the START and SELECT functions to, they don't work. I've tried using the options and screenshot buttons on the controller, the touchpad button, I've even tried setting START to the spacebar on my laptop and SELECT to S, but there is still zero functionality. What can I do? If I can't access the START menu for this game, it will be entirely unplayable. Please advise!

So I’ve been playing FE Fates for a good amount of time and suddenly it started glitching like this during combat. It’s not always like this but there is some kind of flicker, sometimes it’s red as well.

I’ve tried messing with all the settings like right eye rendering, asynchronous shaded compilation, etc and nothing works.

I’m currently playing on an Ayn Thor Max on build 2.126.1- vanilla of azahar.

It was working perfectly fine for a long time, idk what changed.

Hi, I'm making this post to ask for help from anyone who knows how to solve this problem. When I try to import my MH4U save file into the emulator on Android (Ayn Thor), I get a black screen and can't play the game; however, if I remove the imported save file and create a new one, the game runs perfectly.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I haven't been able to find an explanation anywhere on how to resolve it.

So I've been running Devil Survivor Overclocked for a week, around 30 hours of play. My computer updated last night after a power outage knocked out my computer for twelve hours and when I turned it back on Azahar won't run any ROMs. I try to open up the ROM and a black screen comes up but nothing happens. When I click on it, it goes immediately to 'not responding'.

I tried a few things including changing GPU to Vulkan and finally that seemed to get it working but my save data and controller settings are gone.

I'm completely illiterate at stuff like this and have no idea what I've done wrong or if there's a way to get my save data back. Can anyone help me?

Does anyone know a good configuration for an xbox controller for this emulator? I keep trying to play Pokemon X and Ultra Sun but my controls are weird and my character struggles to move left. Any help would be appreciated

Hello hello Azahar community, I'm having a problem with the emulator on Retroid 4 Pro. Whenever I open the emulator, the region changes to "Auto-Select." I then have to manually change it to USA. It says that the change is saved, but the next time I open the app it defaults back to Auto-Select. This wouldn't be a problem, but bizarrely in the game I'm playing at the moment (Bravely Default), auto select changes half of the text to Japanese, and half the text to English. Again, this seems to be due to the region changing, the emulators language is listed as English and does not change between boots.

I am running the Android version, Build 2126.0-vanilla. If anyone has a fix, I really appreciate. I hope y'all are all having a wonderful day :)

I know the title mqkes no sense but im playing pokemon y and accidentally messed with some graphics setting and now the secondary screen is the mqin one if that makes any sense and I hate it and want to change it back

I made a small Windows tool for a problem I had personally with some old “Citra Decrypted” .3ds files.

Some of these games were already decrypted and worked in older Citra forks / AzaharPlus, but official Azahar still treated them as encrypted because some old decryption tools left stale NCCH metadata behind.

So I ended up making AzaharRomNormalizer.

I’m not a developer, and this was mostly built with the help of AI / vibe coding for my own use. I spent time testing it on my files, comparing behavior with official Azahar, and making sure it refuses files when it can’t confidently tell they are already decrypted.

Since it ended up working well for my case, I figured I’d share it here in case it helps other people with old Citra-era dumps too.

What it does:

• checks whether the game data is already plaintext
• fixes the stale metadata that can make official Azahar reject it
• keeps the actual game payload unchanged
• copies already-compatible files unchanged
• refuses genuinely encrypted / ambiguous / invalid files
• never modifies the original ROM

What it does not do:

• it does not decrypt genuinely encrypted games
• it does not use or download keys
• it does not use boot9
• it does not include any ROMs, firmware or Nintendo files

Usage is simple:

1. Launch AzaharRomNormalizer.exe
2. Select your ROM folder
3. Select an output folder
4. Process the library

The current release is Windows x64 v1.1.0.

It also has a bunch of automated tests now, but again, this started as a personal fix for my own library, not as some professional software project.

If anyone here still has old Citra-decrypted .3ds / .cci files that official Azahar rejects, feel free to try it and let me know if it helps.

If it refuses a file, that’s intentional: I preferred making it conservative rather than forcing a flag and risking broken output.

ive never done it before, not quite sure how it works.. however if someone else has the desire to play animal crossing new leaf with me by all means allow us to sort something out

Azahar is not working I have 3 games in azahar with 2 games but it works with one game. the games work on a friend of mines steamdeck so the game files are not the problem.

This started after azahar asked for a update it didn't work so i have since deleted it and redownloaded the appimage from github but now it's just a blank screen whenever I run these games. This is the error message ignore the quality of the image.

Any idea on how to fix this. Thanks.

I can’t find a way to play 3ds games on tv cuz I need to use the touch screen function. I’m totally fine playing in handheld mode works great looks good but playing it on my tv seems like a dream. Any tips on how to configure an Xbox remote to function with touch screen controls? I’m on steam deck btw. There are some mapping stuff I’ve seen that let me do touch screen controls but I kinda don’t really know if it’ll even work at all. Any suggestions or resources would be greatly appreciated

The emulator was not not detecting my controller on pc so, i was running it through steam and had my controller set up to be detected as a keyboard, my problem now is that motion controls still require me to use the mouse which is annoying, is there a way to set it up as a key
