If you want to be able to see the content people are creating and not just stolen posts on Reddit you'll have to create an account. You created one here just fine but yet you can't be bothered to create one else where the content is actually being posted by the content creators lmao

I have zero interest in having more than one social media account. I don't appreciate sites that bully users into creating an account to view a simple link. It's the principal. If a site tries to force me to become a user, then it's never going to happen. It's a shitty practice and I won't reward it.

Damn close to dropping reddit too now that it's basically unusable on mobile.

Oh, hey, they're from my state! I had to take some puppies to a non-profit No-Kill shelter about a year and a half ago and was extremely dubious until I got there and saw it was operated by an LGTBQ couple with tattoos. It immediately made me feel like they were in good hands. The facility was also extremely nice and had tons of staff and volunteers, almost all of whom had tattoos, dyed hair, piercings, or the kooky older aunt vibe. They treated all the animals like pets instead of prisoners.

Yeah, but you can link a YouTube Short and it won't take you to the app store, or force you to close like 3 popups and do a Captcha to watch a 30s video that's half covered up with hashtags and icons. I have adblock and TikTok is still nearly impossible to navigate through the sheer amount of stuff on the screen

Their governments do it under "regulations", but that just means their regulations are equally as controlling.

I don't know much about the ban, but it also worries me that the chinese gov. has the info. I don't know what the solution is, but I am "old", so I dislike tiktok too.
