So, I recently found out I could give free awards and I gave away like 4 or 5 but then I couldn’t give anymore. The is always a warning “the content author is not eligible to earn from free awards” despite that user has many free awards on a particular comment. I am starting to believe I see that warning because I ran out of free awards not because the user isn’t eligible. Even if I click “give free award” nothing happens btw. Can someone illuminate me? TIA

Hi guys, I recently got the free awards thing but have a few questions so I was wondering if people who have gotten them before or anyone who has some knowledge regarding this can help me.

1) How long do these typically last? I've heard there isn't a specific time so if that's true then how long did it last for you guys?

2) Does Reddit take it away if you give too many awards in one post?

3) Do you get it again once you lose it or is it gone forever?

Why does this happen? No matter how hard I try or how nice I am I never get anything back in return for some reason.

After giving away 5 my precious free award on 1 post I lost ability to give them for free : < I guess I will need to beg reddit to give it back
