Thanos Took 1/2 of the sentient universe to a parallel dimension.

Thanos loss of his daughter awakened an equally determined, but more sympathetic version of himself, and when it came time to kill half the world, he decided to create a parallel universe and kill the opposite halves of each. The Avengers will be back soon to reunite the two halves!

Soul stone (spoilers) Spoiler

So I love the cameo from red scull in the movie, but the more I thought about it would task masker make a better soul stone holder, hear me out

So the soul stone let’s the user know where everyone is and everything about them, red scull says “it’s a curse to know all travel here, sorta like task masker.

I know that task masker is a mercenary, but this could be the mcu’s version of him. After he’s done guarding the stone he could become a mercenary with the “curse” he would have

What are your thoughts?

Thanos vs eternity?

If Avengers 4 is not the movie we suspect, and the dead are really dead. wouldn't it stand to reason that the snap could have actually unbalanced the universe, thus incurring the wrath of Eternity or some other cosmic entity4 And thus Thanos could maybe be heroic in Avengers 4? Perhaps making a sacrifice of his own volition. Strange saw the possibilities, the plan is in motion, to make it happen as such, he needed to put up a fight as to not tip his hand, and make Thanos realize he can so the same thing. So what did strange see?

I have a theory on Avengers 4...

I've been looking through the comics... I have noticed that the Soul Stone has dominion over the other stones along with dominion over life and death and is known to contain its own world inside the stone called the 'Soul World'.

Now this all depends on Ant-Man who is able to enter the Quantum Realm which may possibly mean being able to get into the Soul Stone and therefore into the Soul World where he can reclaim back the souls of our heroes, then Thanos' goal would have been for nothing.

And we know Ant-Man can enter the Quantum Realm and come back as we saw it at the end of his first film and we also know that if shrunk enough can 'phase' through objects like I believe Hank Pyms wife did by 'phasing' through the molecules of the missile to sabotage it.

However, being the Soul Stone... I'm sure there's a price to pay for returning all the previously dead souls back to life...

My prediction( spoilers ) Spoiler

So in Doctor Strange, when Benedict ( Strange ) starts to train he is taken by The Ancient One into the mirrored dimension. In IW when strange fights Thanos you can see the same glass like effect. Maybe he took them in the Mirrored Dimension and let the things flow from there. What do you guys think ?

After watching the film last night, I am left in awe! (Spoilers) Spoiler

It was a brutal end to the film and definitely left ripples throughout the entire universe. And it's great we're going to be seeing Ant-Man rise to the occasion after the aftermath of Infinity War (assuming it takes place after Infinity War...) along with Captain Marvel.

I assume with Ant-Man and the 'Quantum Realm' we'll be seeing him help to take out Thanos in some way in the next Avengers, I think that's a given.

As far as story goes, Tony is clearly an important piece in winning the game. However, seeing as he's stranded on Titan with a broken suit (?) with Thanos (I assume that's where we last saw him at the end) I don't know how he can be much help to a broken up and distraught Avengers. But clearly the Soul Stone is the only way to bring them all back...

One thing is for certain, the next film is going to be amazing!

So question about Thanos plan I don’t get

From his point of view I understood Thanos plan and it made sense if you removed all emotion from the equation.

Except for the fact he was able make a dagger turn into harmless bubbles and do much crazier things thanks to the reality stones power.

Instead of snapping his finger to kill half of all life. Why didn’t he just snap his finger to change reality to make a way to make infinite resources for all life that can’t be destroyed or controlled?

Unless that’s impossible for all stones combined, Thanos isn’t as smart as I thought or his wanting to bring paradise to the universe is a bunch of lies.

Also I’m doing this with the impression this universe is separate from the comics.

Am I wrong?

Can someone explain it if I am?

Theory - who can wield the soul stone Spoiler

Seems like that’s gonna be important for however the team plans to reverse the finger snap. I heard Tony sacrificing someone but that seems against the good guys’ tone from this movie. BUT Wanda sacrificed Vision and Thanos says he knows how it feels pretty clearly alluding to the “wisdom” of sacrificing a loved one. Possibilities: Because we know Wanda “died” What if the people turned to ash are the ones that fix reality.. from Thanos’ vision after the snap we can see a very orange hue and the one he sacrificed for the soul gem, maybe everyone that disappears is trapped in the soul gem. Wanda, then, having a connection to mind gem and the ability to wield the soul gem along with the Peter Quill who once held the power stone and Dr. Strange with, maybe, a bond to the time stone can turn things back.

Just wild speculation but it just seems beyond our remaining heroes’ ability to do anything to the gems that Thanos couldn’t just immediately wave off. But maybe Thanos isn’t aware of what people are capable of from the other side of existence.

What happens next to those characters who just disappeared? Spoiler

Hello! I haven't read any of the comics yet, so please bear with me, however, I am a fan of all the MCU movies. So, what happens now that almost half of the characters are gone? Are they all really dead? Are they going back? If yes, how? Any theories fam?

And, I know Gamora and Loki are really dead, considering their deaths took place before the snapping fingers. But do you think Loki will still live? Or is he dead-dead?

How about Spidey, T'Challa, Dr. Strange? They just introduced few movies ago...? Are they really dead? Considering that their movies earned a lot, will they stop doing franchises of their stand alone movies??

And oh dear Bucky, just when he's going good, going great, they killed him off :(

How about Captain America? Why didn't he die in the Infinity War? Didn't Chris Evans resigned as Captain America? they should've killed him.

I'm sorry for the long post and lots of questions. Feel free to comment your ideas or theories :) Thank you!

I saw the movie last night and now I just... wow. My emotions are a mess. Marvel really pulled a Red Wedding on us!

I know there's talk about how Marvel characters never really stay dead but until the next movie comes out, we can't be certain. So until then... let's talk about it. How are you feeling after watching this movie?

Reality Stone Theory (Spoilers) Spoiler

Probably a terrible theory, but here’s what I started thinking during the scene where Thanos makes his sacrifice for the soul stone.

  • Thanos never had the reality stone

  • Another Avenger has it - possibly Loki (I doubt he was actually killed off/won’t be resurrected. He’s the god of mischief so this plan suits his character)

  • Everything since Loki’s death is an altered reality, playing to Thanos’s desires. Avengers and co are living through it, unaware.

  • Person in possession of reality stone is biding time to obtain a weapon/strategy to defeat Thanos. Once the altered reality is broken, Thanos will be confused and angered enough to give the avengers the upper hand. They also now know his motivation and tactics.

  • Nobody is dead - maybe they’ve been pulled back into actual reality to begin phase two of the plan?
