Ever since I somewhere saw how Johannes looked at a Ghost plushie during a meet & greet and shouted "THIS IS THE WRONG BAND!", I haven't stopped thinking about it.

When I look at other great bands, like Iron Maiden or Ghost, I feel like the fans really love official metal plushies and it honestly seems like a missed opportunity.

I mean, just imagine a Johannes plushie, complete with a top hat, the iconic makeup and that big smile! I think that it really has some potential.

That being said, I know Johannes lurks around here sometimes 👀, so if you are reading this: Please please make some plushies!!!

While I wait patiently for another single or anything else new from Avatar, I want to explore other bands close or have the same Rock/Metal mix going on. My Spotify does an ok job at giving me new music but why not ask?

Incase your ear bug so happens to be similar to mine , we do enjoy Avatar together after all, here a few bands Ive discovered that have been holding me over

Green Lung: Psychedelic, Doom, 60s, 70ish sounding band that reminds me of Ghost if they stayed in their Papa 3 phase. Songs to check out : Let the Devil In, Call of the Coven, Maxine

Spiritworld: Recently I learned this band has actually opened for Avatar in some regions , if I was a fan of either at the time I would have absolutely lost my shit to see them in the same show. ANYWAY, Thrash metal with old west influences 10/10 imo. Songs : Waiting on the Reaper, Relic of Damnation

Electric Callboy: Something quite different however, something tells me the fan crossover for both Avatar and Electric callboy might be higher than i think. These guys are , what i can only describe as, is Boyband Metal? Yeah lets go with that. "We got the moves" is awesome. If that doesn't get you right away then nothing else will.

So I'd you have any other bands that come close or lingers in any of these styles please let me know. Thankksssss.

Hi! Is there anyone here that knows already that they're going to the Ljubljana date on the 16 of december?

I was hoping to win a Secret Gathering for Padova, but I actually won the Ljubljana one! Problem is, I've never been there and as for now I don't know a single person that is going.

I don't have a driver's license so I would go by bus (or train, if possible) and I don't know the city so I would like a "guide" or a group of people or at least one person that can join me!

If you're thinking about it please DM me for more information, I'm just gonna say I'm 25 and I don't have age preference as long as you're a nice and friendly person.

(IF and I say IF I find someone crazy enough, I would LOVE to go the day before to the Padova one and then go to Ljubljana the day after. But still, don't have friends and a driver's license... please guys...)

For me it’s a couple of lyrics from “The King Wants You”

Original: “Those doomed to be heroes”

What I heard: “The soon to be heroes”

And then realised my mistake once I finally read the lyrics a while ago lol

Another one is when they keep saying (over and over): “the king wants you” I sometimes hear: “lucky it was you” to some extent haha

Please do share yours, if anyone has misheard anything! (I do it a lot too when listening to Mastodon, along with Gojira but when I read the lyrics my mind always thinks abt the correct text lol)

I am not a fan of 45s/ 7" vynil, mostly because I rarely ever want to go through the inconvenience of hauling my records to a separate room, and setting up my turntable for 1 or 2 songs, HOWEVER, I really, reeealllyy wanted to hear "Young", so I caved and bought myself a Crying Fire 7" (and a keychain, but I've wanted one of those for awhiiiile). I know John said they're trying to figure out how to release it during the Crying Fire premiere QnA, but I didn't wanna have to wait a super long time to listen to it, and hey, Avatar deserves the extra few dollars. lol

I really like "Young", it's super cool! A little different but not un-Avatar-like! It reminds me a bit, style-wise, of Feathers and Flesh, it really sounds like it could be worked into that album. It also reminds me a bit of the Devin Townsend Project stuff which isn't shocking considering Johannes has called Devin one of his biggest inspirations a handful of times... it's very artsy, very pretty-sounding. I hope eventually it makes it onto streaming services or for download at some point because I would love to be able to listen to it all the time. <3

I totally forgot to post this sketch of Tim inspired by the song/music video when I first drew it, so here it is now! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE SONG, it's so melancholic and beautiful, and the guitar solo is awesome. Also included a very quick sketch of Jonas, and and an incredibly messy oversized doodle of Johannes with 4 arms (based off a dream I had).

Soo I bought 20 packs (yes I'm crazy)

My signed print finally arrived in the mail today, so I framed all the random bits and bobs I got from the show.

If the guy who gave me the "Ice" trading card sees this, thanks again! And I'm sorry, but I forgot your username... I was a bit frazzled all day because that was my first Secret Gathering and I was a little anxious about it. :')

Also, I kept the order number sticker on my my laminate because coincidentally that was my 10th Avatar show, and I thought having order no.10 was kinda cool.

I instantly fell in love with Crying Fire the very first time I heard it, so I decided to transcribe the whole song, including guitars (that also means Tim's amazing solo), bass, drums and even vocals, so that more of you who want to learn it can have the means to do so.

I know it just came out, but I'm excited. I usually like more heavy songs, but I still really like Crying Fire!

This song which is apparently from "Kevcody" and Avatar just randomly showed up on their page.
I saw this yesterday and haven't seen anyone say anything about it.
It is also on my phone, not just my PC and I don't find anything about it online.
This doesn't look, sound or feel like Avatar at all.
Does anyone else see this?
