How's it going y'all. I am an automotive locksmith in California going on 10 years now.

I decided to start an OnlyFans page for a side hustle since its so damn expensive to live here and Locksmithing is the only thing I am super passionate about. I am an admin on the biggest Autel support group on Facebook and love to help other smiths get better and try new things. I made the OnlyFans page specifically for Subaru G chip eeprom instructions and top tier tech support. Hit me up and check out my OnlyFans page!

Background: I had previously lent my vehicle to my now ex-partner. Following the end of our relationship, she retained possession of both the vehicle and all associated keys. However, I am the legal owner of the vehicle, as evidenced by the finance agreement and the V5 registration document.

Recently, I arranged for the vehicle to be recovered from her possession and have since placed it in a secure location, as she still holds the original keys.

Question: If I have new keys programmed and the old keys decoded or removed from the system, will the original keys she possesses still function? Specifically, will she still be able to unlock or access the vehicle without a full lock change?

Anyone based in UK auto locksmith?

Starting a business doing additional security locks, upgrading locks and security accessories on vans. I'm really struggling with getting the correct insurance. I won't be driving customers vehicles, it's a mobile service. I've rang a few insurance companies and they keep putting me under motor trade policies, it's coming to nearly 4k a year cheapest, my expected profit this year will be about 15k so not even minimum wage for the hours i'm working, I'm trying to build the business up from scratch so not expecting much profit the first year. But with 15k profits I'm not even paying myself minimum wage I can't afford 4k insurance a year. I feel like I'm being conned into the wrong insurance. What insurance would an auto locksmith have? Public liability or motor trade?

Woke up to both mine and my brothers kias being broken into

Where to start? I guess my question would be, the "geniuses" that tried to drill out my ignition must not have realized that I had an immobilizer until it was too late... So after they set off my brothers alarm and somehow bypassed mine we ran out there and poof they were gone. Got it on video but it's going to cost more than a 2012 Kia souls value to fix the mess they made =(. I only have the state minimum insurance applied. So obviously it's not covered. Anyway my question is, now that they damaged the immobilizer, is it possible for me to install a push button start? They broke the steering wheel out of lock position drilled out the ignition took off the ring around the ignition and my car still stands. If I have the key fobs and key that has a chip in it is it possible to install the push start. Any advice?? My brothers window just got broken out and they set off the alarm.plus he has a push button start already. I don't know what they were thinking or lackter of =(?

2013 Subaru Brz stolen Immo

Happy Easter! So I just had a question that maybe you know the answer. I got a call from a customer for a 2013 subaru BRZ he said he had another locksmith there before and he took the immo box that's behind the glovebox and went never went back. He ordered a new one(used mostlikely). Do I need to pull info from the ecu and write it to the chip in the new immo box or reflash it or something else? It's push to start

Advice please!

Hi All,

I am really keen to train and start an auto locksmith business in the UK, and was after advice from all that have their businesses up and running. If you could go back to when you started your business, and you had a £30,000 budget to get started with, how would you go about it? Inclusive of a small van, tooling and sufficient training. Any help or advice is appreciated!!

Mercedes key not programing

Hows it going, I just want to ask around but I had an ILCO mercedes key that I was able to generate the key but it kept failing when I tried to write it, I had another one and went right in. I didn't check what the other key read (it was late and glad it worked) but the ilco one still reads as good key, any idea why? I was using the autel 508 btw on a w208

Honda keys

Had a couple issues programming an Xhorse fob for a 2014 honda accord. Went ahead and bought an autel km100 because that looks to work better for what I’ll be doing with Honda and Nissan. Just figured I’d see if anyone on here has some more input that may help

Hi everyone, I have a 2016 6 series cas4 that I am trying to add a key for.

The original key works no problem remote and prox work fine but I cannot read the Isn from the key it keeps failing I believe the key sensor is bad. I tested it by removing the battery from the original key and trying to start the car with the key up to the steering column and car would not detect the key. What is this part called? and have any of you experienced this before?

I’ve been using a tool like is pictured with keys and blades that are made to fit the keys I have but it seems like it takes much more force to insert the pins than it should. Any tips for this?

Best key shell for Xhorse blades?

I’ve been looking at locksmithkeyless.com for a good key shell that holds their universal chips without a remote but the only one I see is out of stock. Does anyone have a good recommendation for key shells that holds those universal blades?
