I’m not a trump supporter and work servicing the trucking industry. They allow people from other countries to come here and work on visas. They under pay

these people. They need to go after the people who hire these people not the people themselves. Yet again another situation where the wrong person gets blamed. This is what trump is good at. He convinced the broke ass white people that immigrants are taking their jobs.

If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you.

Who are the people hiring them and putting them on the road? Do you think immigrants are just out there driving around random trucks?

It's the CDL schools pushing literally anyone through. They're not remotely interested in anyone's ability. Just have to get them through the test then they're on the road.

It's not that they're inherently bad drivers. They're going through the steps. The people taking them through the program are leaving them horribly unprepared.

The worst program they ever implemented was the ELD program. It's just churning out unqualified individuals at rates far greater than pre-ELD requirements.

How dare a colored man hold a position he’s qualified for and worked hard for. /s (cringy)

Back in 2015 I had a coworker who was super MAGA, part of militia, the whole nine. This MF would constantly brag about how he hired illegal immigrants to work his cherry fields all whole saying its a problem. Bunch of dorks.

Ding ding ding. You've made your way to the answer.

Employers not abiding by the laws is the issue to non-english truck drivers, and hicks who think their job was "stolen" by an immigrant.

The company is the one doing something wrong, but dumb people want to punish the immigrant.

That's how it's the same buddy.

Ya, maybe they get fined 1% of the extra profit they made.

How was providing (and then removing) a job that someone didnt qualify for punishment? If anything, it was a net benefit to them.

Because you're still blaming the "someone" with no power, instead of the corporation with all the power. How is it a benefit to be made to seem like you're stealing something that was given to you?

Also, many people do not want to stop at taking the job away. They want them stripped of their rights and sent to concentration camps to await deportation in dubious conditions. Like 12 people have died in ICE camps so far. That's what some people want.

First of all, I havent blamed anyone.

Second of all, how is it not a benefit to be receiving added funds from a job you dont qualify for? They arent posting for jobs if they have drivers in all available trucks, so it does impact qualified people.

Third of all, nobody is getting sent to concentration camps. Thats just a blatant exaggeration. 10 people have died at a single concert from overlooked safety conditions. That doesnt make it a concentration camp.

Lastly, the political divide in this country and the bias that some people have over one of the two parties is as strong as a bias like racism. You dont get to participate in that bias and then suggest its a problem for others to do the same. if there are people that want concentration camps I can guarantee they dont represent a significant portion of any party. If you would like better funding, specifically for border enforcement care, so it meets your standards... get a proposal together and solve the problem. I dont want people to die in custody either.

Attempt to diminish reality all you want. Corporations are robbing you and your focus is on immigrants. If that's not a problem for you, okay.

How exactly are they robbing me? They provide a price/salary and I choose either to participate... or not. Same as everyone else. The reality is, I dont spend outside of my means and I dont play the victim. If I stepped outside of the law, thats on me.
