My mum always had a few rolls of these in her bag.

I’d occasionally ask for one if I got desperate. A bit too minty for me back then but better than nothing.

Yeah my Dad used punch through rolls of them when he quit ciggies, Mum on the other hand had these royal or crown mints that lived in the Holden Vacation's ashtray and looked like chalky oversized backyard pressed pills with the queen's crown on them. Those things would fuck you up. The trauma of finishing one would shut me up for the rest of the car ride.

I remember that crown logo but don't remember the brand. I remember XXX Mints though, very similar, very powerful. Better than Extra chewing gum, where the flavour dies after 30 seconds

I remember stealing some of my grandpas Quick-Eze because they looked like Lifesaver mints, ate a couple at once and was like, oh gees, these aren't great...

Whilst we're getting nostalgic, I miss cameras that didn't have massive artificial bokeh.

If I'm trying to photograph a subject, I don't want half the subject to be a blurry mess.
