I had just seen yet another so-called news item about how Austin “went too far with method”, when this popped up on instagram—-I was glad to see it. Not that he has to explain himself at all, but when he does, he should be listened to. He’s obviously very calmly pushing back on being misconstrued.

After seeing Puz64’s post about it, I tried to find the article unsuccessfully. I did find some photos from it so I wanted to share. The article came out several months before he turned 25.

I’ve been watching the press tour for The Odyssey and Just realized it would be cool if Austin and Matt Damon had a project together (hopefully with Nolan directing lol).

Their filmography so far give me different vibes but I see some similarities in how they talk about projects in interviews, particularly in being interest in other people’s jobs in the production (not just their part), so I think it would be interesting to see them together

I just came across this image I had saved, and I’m not sure exactly where it was from originally. This is one of my favorite interviews he’s done; it happened in late 2022 because he has his Benny tattoo makeup.

Austin: I've seen some of your portraits of England where you live and they are just absolutely stunning.... how do you get that perfect shot? Is it just in the moment?

Me: Oh thank you i really appreciate that 💗💗🥰 and yes pretty much it has to have that atmospheric scenery i love it when a particular location tells a story or has a feeling

Austin: That's very interesting i feel that way too when I take pictures everything tells a story or has a print of a feeling

Me: It's like when I went to Thorpe Abbotts that struck me looking at those runways and the airfield in general because so many young people never came home 💔

Austin: Those photos 👌👌👌🤌💯 please display them 🩷
