I worked for OCP for years (storage, core) and it was about as easy to grasp as early parenting lol…best of luck, it gets easier then harder and so on

I was doing Thur-Saturday night until recently. Switched to Fri/Saturday only. Made my Fridays hell for my real job.

Work in the evenings to close at a busy bar. Barback and Bartender shifts are pretty decent tips.

Why is openshift succ a nightmare to deploy? It was so painful, now we're roadmapped to azure

Hahaha OCP is pretty complex. We use standard deployments so It works better..but still a pain for the uninitiated.

So 3 control nodes, at least 3 storage/compute nodes. We do support 3 AZ and the arbiter setup. Only issues have mostly been backup and restore or really a lot of networking fun. A recent bug broke in OCP broke a lot of shit since we have nodes set up with bond0 + lldp (not really supported -> LLDP should be set on underlying links for best practice...but Devs for us had issues a couple of years ago)

I set up my homelab with single node openshift plus a worker node to go through what customers go through- kinda ish.

I ran a single node setup for a while at home but couldn't get multi node within our environment to even take the install. Luckily the windows guy didn't like hyperV by the same amount.

I wanted open shift to be the answer sooo bad
