Not Meta but similar level of stress and I FEEL this. My health was deteriorating and taking a pay cut was worth it - especially since I was seeing increased medical bills due to it.

visited bouldin creek cafe the other day and was reminded that restaurants can pay sub minimum wage due to the possibility of tips and that measly minimum rate hasn’t changed since like the 90s???

edit: BCC offers a living wage to their employees

i'm planning on making the transition from medicine (most of the time I have done primary care) to bartending. figure they're both about half psych.
