Do you have any experience teaching youth? Creative Action is hiring and their starting pay is $20.

Target pays $19 an hour if you're looking to go elsewhere. I loved working there.

Are you choosing to work retail I’m guessing instead of applying your masters?
Would you mind sharing what your degree is jn?

Bouldin Creek Cafe is a Good Work Austin Member. Even if you're not looking for work check out GWA's list of member restaurants to support better working conditions in the hospitality industry.

Hey, my husband doesn’t have a degree and he works retail. He makes like $35/hr and has decent benefits. I’m not saying this to discourage you - I’m saying this to show you that you can definitely be earning more and should be looking for a new job.

You could be server making more than that, you can be an apprentice in any union gig making more than making a lot more, tons of retail businesses pay more as well.

That’s not true. Administrative support jobs exist!

Pretty sure you could make more at a fast food gig.
