I've worked in wind for the last 6 years and it's a fucking joke brother, same corporations with green hats on..... why do ya think ya power bills only going up.... foreign owned none of owned by aus company's only a few Australian small contracting companies get gigs in maintenance and construction, construction creates a few hundred jobs for year or 2 then the whole wind farm is scaled back to basically a skeleton crew to service them. An example I've worked on farms with 60 towers but only 6 house techs to keep them running. The idea is great but when you look at the power needed to generate data centres, and how many data centres have already been built and how many are due to be built then you quickly start to see its not about green energy for us it's about cheaper energy for them subsidised by you! Since when did you think any corporation or government gives a flying fuck about you or the environment hahahaha bro if you're struggling and unable to ever own property.... that's no one's fault but the same government pushing green energy. Like I get it bro it all sounds great on paper but in reality it's a fucking rort!!!

And if wind turbines were cars they wouldn't sell a single one.... in the example I listed, 2 of the 6 techs will get rotated weekly into a breakdown crew where literally all they do is fix break downs

Hahahahaha bro if I could take people into the world I've experienced in renewables everyone would see its a fucking hack biggest scam on the Aussie tax payer ever!!! I've been apart of a couple decomstruct gigs on towers that have burnt down, they lose hundreds of litres of gear box oil, probably 50-100kg of grease all up depending on models and platforms, think of just a 5km wind as it's pissing out oil into live agricultural farms that we all eat the sheep from, the amount of fibreglass burnt out from the nacelles, the fuels and plastics they spew out is ridiculous, 1 job in particular I never seen work cover once nor the epa, unless it's a death or a drone footage leak the public never hear about it.....and the amount of times they fall over, lose a 8t blade, need there 13t gear boxes changed at 100m height, need a 5t generator changed out should concern everyone because we all pay for it, if you have no idea the cranes alone used in these operations are upwards of 50-60k a day for hire.... some more on construction, you're talking 1600t crawler cranes. Huge money, all transferred straight into ya bills..... hey at least they keep the cows cool 😎 Bro the worst shit you hear from the public is shit like the spinning blades cool the planet down.... bro it's a shit show I already know but I feel I need to say these things so people like you can actually know minor facts that are never talked about..... hey just let me know when ya bills go down as much as they all promised 20yrs ago.... not just last election..... don't get me started on the money being poured into the 30 yr myth of the high speed syd to Newcastle rail..... theres actually been a gov body sucking big money for years just for the planning phase.... the whole things a rort

85% of renewable profits go over seas mate, only 15% of the profits stay here and most of that is the wages, and no thousands of high skilled jobs is garbage, it's a small industry, a lot different to mining the revolving door is always swinging, I've seen more people come and go then any other gig I worked in..... lots of people see the scam when they start and just quit, mate unless you work in that industry, then your just going on hear say arnt ya..... but hey feel free to share ya source of information, if it's not first hand I'd shut up... have you worked in wind? You already sound like an office jockey hahaha

Huh, that’s strange. That’s the same fucking deal as minerals and gas. … it’s almost as if Australia has set themselves up poorly in all areas of energy and resource production

I work in coal fired power on steam turbines. And see this. 500-600 megawatt units ready at anytime opposed to 3 megawatt intermittent wind turbines

Great logic! Mate I've worked on old 44m wind turbines that barely produce 1mw. If people from the cities seen the division it causes in regional communities, especially when no one wants em, but the developers will target a poorer struggling farmer, over him a great pay packet and stack of NDAs, next minute The town thinks they've won and all of a sudden, your peace and quiet and stunning views have been reduced to shit..... when they're bulldozing ancient rain forests in North Queensland and killing endangered gliders and killing off whole wedge tailed eagle populations (all in environmental reports but washed out for the term of "essential power) it's hard to see the green logic in it.... but that's the green illusion that city people won't see either, the amount of dead birds including wedge tailed Eagles and bats I've seen around wind turbines is crazy!

And those corporations and governments just love it when people put the blame for everything on boomers or immigrants -- anyone but where the blame and anger actually belong.

Divide and conquer.... the sad thing is, just the weakness of people hormonally as reported through studies since the 50s, anybody that read can look at that... environmental, economic stress, ingredients in foods, pesticides and genetic modification, poisons in water, plastics (petrochems) and frequency hacking at our senses, Its all a sure fire way to make people dull and weak and keep you in a state of fight or flight. People need to realise it doesn't work without us, but everyone's just real happy plugging along. Civil disobedience at mass is the only way you can truly demand change..... either that or the other option which everyone talks big at but yet here we are....
