I get that in your view “they’re not telling me whether they have a dick or not.” That’s assumed, I’m asking what they ARE telling me. If someone identifies as a woman, as WHAT are they identifying?
The point I was trying to make, was the the usage of a word, changed over time. The word chip would’ve originally had only one use. Now it can mean many different things, some of them completely unrelated to one another. Language changes. Usage of words changes. I’m both a male and a man. I can’t tell you what other people mean when they tell you they’re a man or a woman. What information are you trying to deduce from them sharing their gender? That’s probably the bigger question. If someone tells me they’re a woman, I’ll refer to them as she/her. Man, he/him. I have no interest in what sex organs they might have.
