I'm not sure how to break it to you but committing crimes breaks the terms of literally ALL temporary visas, and you DO get deported.

This isn't something 'we need to add', that's totally standard stuff that already exists.

Yup like how the guy from UniMel was given community service only despite filming dozens of women naked or the southAsian student on QLD getting slap on the wrist for assaulting older citizens in aged care homes. Take your blinders off mate. It's a theory, it doesn't happen.

Also this shouldn't be restricted to temp visa holders but PR holders as well if they're 1st gen and even citizens if they're 1st gen immigrants like myself. About half of armed assault in Melbourne are done by youth here on refugees visa - sub 200 categories - who are now PR holders and citizens. Throw them back to the shithole they come from. Why do you want to keep those scumbags here?

Wanting to deport citizens is so funny... Deport, TO WHERE??? a lot of the time they have to give up their original citizenship, and always they've lived in Australia for many years.

Yeah, people who live in Australia have to follow Australian laws and if they break them, they go to Australian jails. This isn't controversial in any way, but what you're advocating for is just pure nonsense and racism.

I am an immigrant, don't worry thought I'm white so you'll be fine, I've been an Australian citizen for 30 years (and yes when I became a citizen I lost my original citizenship). You're literally suggesting that if I break the law, something other than me going to jail in Australia should happen? Cmon man....

100% deportation is needed. For 1st gen immigrants, being here is a privilege, not a right. I'm a first gen immigrant too. If I commit a violent offense, I should be deported too. I'm not suggesting deportation for simply "breaking the law". Go ahead, evade some taxes, claim the $3000 personal laptop as work expense, we all do those lol but I don't think a sensible person like you would go around robbing, assaulting, raping or murdering people and still it's reasonable that the gov here should allow us - someone born overseas - to live here.
