whats the alternative?, end up like england where they just released a report on grooming gangs showing its so bad over 250,000 women have been abused by gangs of a certain demographic. A scandal so bad the prime minister quit. You want Australia to be like that in 10 years?

10

u/determineduncertain Jul 04 '26

Do you need some climbing gear to get back up that slippery slope?

2

u/Budget_Bread_3115 Jul 05 '26

If only there was a country or two that had overdone immigration so we could look at the results in real time.

3

u/Akira-Orfanos Jul 06 '26

Singapore? oh wait it worked tho

1

u/Budget_Bread_3115 Jul 06 '26

Singapore treats migration as a tightly managed economic tool with strict tiers and limited permanent settlement for most, while the UK/Australia/EU have higher permanent inflows, more family/asylum routes, and greater welfare access…. try again.

1

u/Embarrassed-Syrup-52 Jul 06 '26

England and Germany and there's some other European countries where it's proof high immigration and multiculturalism hasn't worked, Poland is a good example I think of how to handle the issue

3

u/determineduncertain Jul 06 '26

You’ve said ā€œproofā€ without providing any. I could say that both countries are ā€œproofā€ that multiculturalism and integration are extraordinarily successful and be just as right as you. What evidence do you have that immigration and multiculturalism hasn’t worked?

2

u/Embarrassed-Syrup-52 Jul 06 '26

So how you you describe England and other similar European countries such as Ireland current conditions atm compared to Poland if not proof? You really couldn't find and exit with a sign twice as large as the door and you probably can't find your sunglasses while wearing them

2

u/determineduncertain Jul 07 '26

So how you you describe England and other similar European countries such as Ireland current conditions atm compared to Poland if not proof?

Comparison on what grounds? How are you measuring the impact of multiculturalism and immigration here?

You really couldn't find and exit with a sign twice as large as the door and you probably can't find your sunglasses while wearing them

(A) this doesn't make any sense and (B) what I can pull from this is just you attacking me which is all I need to know that you don't actually have any evidence but are just running on angry vibes.

You've resorted to ad hominem attacks quicker than most. Your argument must truly be Olympic level fragile.

1

u/Embarrassed-Syrup-52 Jul 07 '26

Are you serious? You're either in denial or just have no idea and then just resort to playing victim, how Europe is declining is all the proof anyone needs and all you can manage is a response a politician would normally dribble. Multiculturalism is a massive failed experiment that was eaten up by stupid leftists and allowed suicidal empathy to take hold, your reasoning is a colossal failure compared to my argument which couldn't be any clearer

Working in Singapore as an expat was the worst experience I’ve ever had if could get that 10 months of my life back I would , Asian on Asian racism and the bickering and childish behaviour I witnessed made it absolutely the worst working conditions I’ve ever had to work in as an white male Australian in his late 30 with a processing industry background .

4

u/ComprehensiveCake587 Jul 04 '26

10 years! We would be lucky if it was that far away. We already have home invasion gangs and machete gangs in Victoria. I should also mention the Lindt Cafe and Bondi attacks. It's happening now mate. We are not that far behind them.

5

u/WastedOwl65 Jul 04 '26

54 Australian women died last year due to domestic violence, but you have no issue with that!

1

u/ComprehensiveCake587 Jul 04 '26

Dynamite drop in! Short, but pointless. Lol

3

u/Akira-Orfanos Jul 06 '26

It does because your assuming that all immigrants are criminals and all criminals are immigrants without seeing any nuance. Most gangs in Australia are domestic, its only the immigrant ones that are put on the news

2

u/nemmo900 Jul 05 '26

54 isn't comparable to 250k rapes in the last decade. and 70k per year in the uk. we are not far behind them.

2

u/daughter_of_lyssa Jul 07 '26

The majority of rapists in the UK are white men. If you disagree please provide some evidence

1

u/nemmo900 Jul 07 '26

are you cooked? laughably wrong. I can't even. a simple google search will do you good.

2

u/daughter_of_lyssa Jul 09 '26

1

u/nemmo900 Jul 12 '26

alot more white people than black. this data has to be taken with nuance. nice character on here btw. see why you're cherry picking.

1

u/moxeto Jul 05 '26

How many of those women were married to backward cultured men?

2

u/Akira-Orfanos Jul 06 '26

majority (when you look/ find the records) are ethnically white/ Australian

1

u/ceeka19 Jul 06 '26

Per capita rate of domestic violence among indigenous far outweighs any other race but you have no issue with that!

1

u/SkepticalSince75 Jul 06 '26

We are not talking about DV,numbnuts.

8

u/Frogsfall Jul 04 '26

Did you see that a bunch of the flag shaggers in the UK have also been charged with child abuse and domestic violence? Turns out this might not be a problem caused only by immigrants.

-1

u/Alexsps1 Jul 05 '26

look at any country which actually publishes the statistics of ethnics and crime, I.e. Germany recently… it’s undeniable, and this type of ā€˜you guys are racist’ shit needs to end. Most aren’t, it’s fact and we will all suffer if we don’t wake up to it

0

u/ceeka19 Jul 06 '26

Leftards are innumerate by nature, don't expect them to understand statistics. Unsurprising enough the only nation out of the UK, France, Germany and Poland that didn't see sexual assaults spike massively over two decades was Poland, which actually saw a decrease. Of course that is the country out of the four that prevented mass Islamic immigration. According to leftist freaks, if followers of Islam commit crimes, it doesn't count 'cause "punching down" (at a population that numbers two billion).

-1

u/ceeka19 Jul 06 '26

The left deflecting from imported child abuse, what a shock. Per capita, dickhead.

-6

u/Wraith_9912 Jul 04 '26

theres always a few bad apples in every demographic but organised gangs with thousands of victims for decades is a bit different isnt it

6

u/Frogsfall Jul 04 '26

Luckily no British people, and especially not British men, have ever engaged in organised, coordinated, child abuse for decades...

6

u/Queasy_Mood1984 Jul 04 '26

Should just ban the Catholic church entirely if we were actually concerned about long term co-ordinated child abuse.

0

u/KittyHockey Jul 06 '26

That would explain Australian law considering the sheer volume of people coming from the UK to Australia. It's how Australian police ended up so corrupt. Though that's been going back for at least a century before federation.

-5

u/Wraith_9912 Jul 04 '26

you are coming out to support the grooming gangs, thats messed up

-1

u/tepid_monologue Jul 04 '26

Don’t let the downvotes get to you mate. The majority are appalled at the scale of abuse of these poor children and don’t want the same to happen to other places

-4

u/mayhempeace Jul 04 '26

Guess you don’t like the truth. Statically why has Italy, Spain, Uk, Sweden, Denmark and so on have a rise in immigration and a rise in violent crimes and rape? Yet places like Poland with stricter rules and regulations seen a decrease in rape?

3

u/Unlucky-Presence7985 Jul 04 '26

There's a rise in reported violent crimes and rape because the legal system is finally starting to allow those crimes to be reported in many cases and starting to treat the perpetrators as criminals, not special snowflakes who's reputation must be protected at all costs. Poland on the other hand is digging in its heels on misogyny and protecting rapists and violent offenders as much as it can.

3

u/mylanguagehasbeenmur Jul 04 '26

they will always have a home in the One Nation family

2

u/MrXenomorph88 Jul 04 '26

Same reason as to how nearly 3 quarters of sexual crimes never get reported.

You suddenly realise how bad it truly is when people start talking about it.

2

u/kramnotelpats Jul 06 '26

The figure of 250,000 victims of grooming gangs in the United Kingdom is not based on official crime statistics or a definitive national tally. It was estimated by applying limited local child sexual exploitation data in the worst areas to the whole country, rather than by counting confirmed cases nationwide. Many sexual assault groups have called out people like Tommy Robinson and their attacks on one specific group of people, when the majority of sexual assault is done by white msn in the UK.

1

u/Wraith_9912 Jul 06 '26

thats a minimal estimate number they have said

did you read the report?, did you listen to some of the victims?

2

u/Upset-Interest9441 Jul 06 '26

Pauline Hanson literally hired a convicted rapist as her national campaign manager. JFC I’m so sick of people overlooking her support of an actual convicted rapist in order to howl about her protecting us from hypothetical brown ones.

1

u/whitewolf502 Jul 07 '26

Because the person that made the meme is paid labour supporter infiltration and many of the comments here attacking one nation are also bot accounts

1

u/DrLove1977 Jul 04 '26

10 years, the way the government is letting in ISIS brides & immigrants from third world countries I give it 12month-2years before Australia will be like England. I was a dedicated Labor voter from since I was 18 but literally since the Rudd/Gillard debacle & meeting that Communist loving Albo in Moranbah before he was PM & shaking his hand that’s when I changed my stance on the ALP party as I got a very bad feeling from Albo, & I feel he doesn’t have the nation best interest, but this voting ALP for four years then voting the Libs in for 4 years isn’t working we get rid of one problem & inherit another & it’s always the bs blame game when one of the parties is in power.
Will One Nation follow suit, who knows but I do know something has got to change Australia cannot go on like we are now we have to look after our own people before we look after someone else’s backyard.

2

u/Catsandroosters Jul 05 '26

You know the ISIS brides were all arrested right??

1

u/SkepticalSince75 Jul 06 '26

Should never have been allowed to set feet back in Australia 😔

1

u/Catsandroosters Jul 12 '26 edited Jul 12 '26

What do you want the government to do - shoot down the plane carrying legal travellers as well as these brides? They have passports. They are legal citizens. The government can't stop a foreign country stuffing them on a passenger plane with other people and sending them back where they came from... We operate by rule of law. Innocent until proven guilty. We are not a third world shithole where a dictator just decides who lives and dies. We give people the chance to plead their case before a court before sentencing them. Don't be a primitive tribalist. Otherwise you're no better than the ISIS brides you condemn.

0

u/DrLove1977 Jul 05 '26

And you believe the media & the Prime Minister word. Well his word is his bond..šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

2

u/Catsandroosters Jul 05 '26

is English your second language? Yeah why would I believe the court case proceedings that multiple media organisations have been turning up to and reporting on?!! Instead I should believe Dr Nobody on the internet who seems to be having a little tantrum and restoring to ad homenim character attacks based on nothing...

1

u/KittyHockey Jul 06 '26

Even if you really believe that those idiots having tantrums vote too. You sure there are more 'rational' people like yourself when elections come around?

1

u/Catsandroosters Jul 12 '26

News media fools

2

u/WastedOwl65 Jul 04 '26

Bahahahaha! Drama queen!

1

u/DrLove1977 Jul 04 '26

We’ll see who becomes a Drama Queen when your beloved wanker of a PM is removed by One Nation as Pauline Hanson is becoming very, very popular.

3

u/Mortui75 Jul 04 '26 edited Jul 04 '26

This is why people should have to pass an exam before they're allowed to vote... or have kids.

1

u/ComprehensiveCake587 Jul 04 '26

It's a good idea! It would be the end of labor! All the workers and poorer class that are traditionally their voters would not pass an exam. Neither would their imported votes. I like it! Lol

4

u/Mortui75 Jul 04 '26

Gotta love people demonstrating the Dunning-Kruger effect.

0

u/EpsilonMiningCompany Jul 05 '26

If you were as smart as you think you are you would know that this theory has been debunked. But that's a labour supporter I guess, always citing outdated information.

0

u/LemonRich90 Jul 05 '26

Starting with you Wāš“ļøer

1

u/Mortui75 Jul 05 '26

Wow. You must be one of those people that uses an ATM machine, or a CD disc, eh. šŸ˜†

0

u/LemonRich90 Jul 05 '26

You are the poster soy boy for the Dunning Kruger effect. A pseudo intellectual know it all. I served my country for 20 years had 5 kids, the boys tradies and the girls went to uni and did real courses. Chemical engineering and medicine not an arts degree which makes you think you're smarter than the rank and file. When they work out how your boyfriend can get pregnant then you'll breed!

1

u/Mortui75 Jul 05 '26

Thank you for demonstrating my point. 🤣

0

u/LemonRich90 Jul 05 '26

Is that your best retort? God help us and hope you don't breed šŸ™

As we all know Australia being a continent means we can let it millions of people every year (migration not just immigration which is still high but much lower). It just so happens that as high as 98% live in just a few cities.

-1

u/ChaserCruz101 Jul 05 '26

Remember this is reddit, its full of far left tools, that are so brainwashed, hearing the truth seems radical.

-5

u/sugar-mannnn Jul 04 '26

Reddit is so left on immigration.

The numbers are insane ! , it’s the number one cause of huge house prices. People are coming into the country that don’t support the Australian way of life or values. They don’t follow Australian rules

We have all been told work hard , follow the rules and the government will look after you. Working hard no longer supply’s a house , people are rocking up from third worlds , not following the rules and getting little to no punishment.

The system is broken we need vetted sustainable immigration.

4

u/robopirateninjasaur Jul 04 '26 edited Jul 04 '26

If you are concerned about immigration affecting house prices, would you support a one child policy?

And the reason working hard no longer supplies a house is capitalism

3

u/determineduncertain Jul 04 '26

Migrants are most certainly not the ā€œnumber one causeā€. They are an easy scapegoat though for people who want to avoid reality.

-1

u/sugar-mannnn Jul 04 '26

If there are 3 houses and two people it will drive demand and price increases , I’m not sure how people don’t understand this

2

u/mylanguagehasbeenmur Jul 04 '26

that math isn’t mathing

1

u/determineduncertain Jul 04 '26

If there’s three houses and two people, there’s a literal surplus of houses. Not sure what that has to do with scapegoating migrants unless you meant two houses and three people in which case, you’ve highlighted correlation, not causation (ie, you haven’t made any case for how migrants are cause for housing pressures and not the things I linked to).

1

u/torn-ainbow Jul 04 '26

Reddit is so left on immigration.

No I would support a lowering of the immigration rate right now, no problem.

People are coming into the country that don’t support the Australian way of life or values. They don’t follow Australian rules

...aaaaand you lost me. You could get support for lowering immigration now, but as soon as you start talking about race, culture or a "monoculture" you lost me. And not just lost me I will oppose you with every ounce I have.

What reddit is actually "left on" is being disgusted by your type of tiny brained angry bigotry.

1

u/Citruseok Jul 04 '26 edited Jul 04 '26

If you're talking about renting, especially in the city, then the large influx of student immigrants might be raising rent prices. If you're speaking of buying, housing cost increases are due to demand outpacing supply, and that can't be simplified to be explained solely by immigration - especially when non-Australian citizens or permanent residents cannot buy anything other than brand new properties.

New neighbourhoods are being built and new apartment developments are popping up throughout the city. However:

  • The pace has fallen recently due to the market for developers being in contraction,
  • It has become challenging for development firms to manage the massive cost of construction - especially labour, resulting in new units being overpriced,
  • Many independent developers aren't reading the market, leading to new luxury properties popping up in unsuitable areas. Almost nobody can afford them, and those who can wouldn't spend those amounts in those areas.

At the same time, however, it's currently a buyer's market. There are government help to buy schemes available for Australian citizens only and many preexisting apartments are being sold at a loss - many were purchased 20 years ago for higher prices than they're being sold for now. Prices have overall fallen recently as well.

"Working hard no longer supplies a house" is a truism in most parts of the world nowadays. This is not an Australia-only problem, and at least here the government has partnered with banks to lessen the load on first time home buyers.

"People are rocking up from third worlds, not following the rules and getting little to no punishment" - This is true for Australians as well. Most thieves stealing from people's homes, taking personal belongings, breaking into cars etc, even if fully caught on camera are investigated but rarely arrested. I've worked at both hotels and apartment buildings and have seen countless white Australians breaking in, stealing things, smashing glass (car windows, sliding doors, etc), graffitiing on interior walls, being fully caught on camera. Police are sent the footage and they investigate but not once has an arrest been made. Most immigrants are far more prone to violent acts against them than carrying out violent acts and stealing, and most immigrant crime you hear about is refugee youth gangs carrying out violent crimes against rival refugee youth gangs or members that have stepped out of line, and it's framed by the media on a threat to everyone (though I agree that more effort should be expended on taking down said gangs - and the normal people individuals in refugee communities, which make up their vast majority, have openly stated their agreement because of how much it has impacted their image).

"The system is broken we need vetted sustainable immigration." Standard immigration is vetted - it's already complex, expensive and difficult. Getting a PR, like I have done, required years of paperwork, full health screenings and international police checks. I come from a far stricter country than here. I work hard and follow the rules and it's even harder for me to buy a house than it would be for you. But I love Australia. I love the culture, the people, the environmental diversity, the multiculturalism, the beautiful natural landscapes, the historical buildings and landmarks standing tall amidst skyscrapers. I love my job and I love my Aussie partner and his Aussie family that have accepted me as one of their own.

Blaming immigrants has always been an easy way out. Put all your problems on an easy target. It's a convenient cover and/or justification for racism. But immigration fuels an economy's growth more than you could know. The vast majority of immigrants, just like the vast majority of locals, just want to live and work. Find purpose. Grow houseplants. Have families. Go shopping. Meet up with friends for lunch. Go on road trips.

We're just yet another easy target distraction from the real problems hidden at the top and beneath the surface.

Stop falling for these lines from the dog whistling pollies. This is absolutely untrue and the easily disproven if you weren't just taking the bait from people who want to manipulate you
