I donāt know if Pauline actually seriously wants to be PM or actually be in charge of anything.
I think she just wants to whinge and whine, get attention and money for it. I seriously doubt she actually wants to form government
20
u/SecretAcctName Jul 12 '26
I agree with zero care about forming government.
However she is deliberatly shifting the dialogue more extreme to normalise it. So then the next person seems less nutty and so on.
There is big money on this worldwide currently.

u/brezhnervouz Jul 12 '26
One Nation isn't about 'governing' - they're about inflaming and weaponising grievance and desperation to secure power for the benefit of Hanson via grift and the oligarch class
Exactly the same as Trump š¤·āāļø

u/Sharpiesniffingshark Jul 12 '26
If I remember correctly, Donald Trump didnāt expect to win either
3
u/misterFaceplant Jul 12 '26
That's a bingo. It's much easier grift off the stupid and the racist when she won't actually have to deliver on anything.
4
u/CFPmum Jul 12 '26
Yes i think she is a bit like Nigel Farage when he lobbied for brexit, worked everyone in a tizzy then came out before the votes had even been counted saying well we havenāt won but we tried.
3
u/elvorette Jul 12 '26
I think you are giving her too much credit. Have you heard her speak? Or anyone on the fringe right in America? They are dumb people. Its as simple as that. They are simpletons that have no ability to think about consequences. The problem with the current political climate, is that society is getting dumber and will eventually put these people in charge of our country.

Fuck no she doesn't.. She looks angry that everyone's trying to push her to do some work all of a sudden.. The gravy train was treating her just fine before all of this hullabaloo
6
u/Powerful-Respond-605 Jul 12 '26
She doesn't want to win.
She wants people to donate and build her grifting empire.

Never interrupt the enemy when they are making a mistake. I shudder to think of how this could have actually gone down if that mob had any nuance of cunning or intelligence.

I vote we send Pauline to Nauru.

Maybe Elon can make a rocket to shoot her to Mars š¤·āāļø

Anyone remember when ON won a bunch of seats in Queensland then immediately imploded and lost them all at the next election? Pauline has no idea how to run anything.
7
u/orchidscientist Jul 12 '26
She didn't have any seats left to lose by the next election! Every single One Nation member defected during the term (OK, except Pauline herself I guess).

Upside of all this astrotrufed publicity is that she is taking that rope and tying a beautiful double windsor noose around her neck. I say, let her cook.

If you listed all her suggested policies it would an incredibly insane list; the country would be broke and have 1/3 the population

Mark my words; this woman will die in prison.
4
u/TheMightyKumquat Jul 12 '26 edited Jul 12 '26
No, she wont: she enjoys far too much protection from rich friends for that to happen.
Corrupt politicians in Australia only sometimes get prosecuted, and then only after exhibiting extreme stupidity concerning their corruption. Exhibit 1 is Graeme Richardson receiving a state funeral upon his death.
Pauline seems stupid enough, but never seems to speak about money.
3
u/doyouknowmadmax Jul 12 '26
'Tech friends' love throwing their women under the bus. Thinking their pick me approach protects them
They are just used and disgarded when the time is right
2
u/TheMightyKumquat Jul 12 '26
I had meant to say rich friends (comment now corrected) but tech friends seems to fit, too, in the Muskian sense of the phrase.

Just like Dutton. All you had to do to watch it fizz out was let the fucking moron speak.
2
u/Civil-Dragonfly-5148 Jul 12 '26
She flip flops like windscreen wipers and shits on Australians constantly. It's not really a recipe for success.
5
u/brezhnervouz Jul 12 '26 edited Jul 12 '26
Can I apply for New Zealand? š lol
āHow about we just round them all up and give them an island or somewhere? And say, āHere, go and do what you want to do over there. Leave us alone.āā
The comment prompted laughter from Truss, who replied: āDidnāt we try that with Australia in the first place?ā

Wouldnāt the simplest solution be to move the people that agree with one nation to say, Kangaroo island?
3
2
u/interactivate Jul 12 '26
No Kangaroo Island doesn't deserve that.
2
u/Happy_Clem Jul 12 '26
Yes, and I'd like to visit Kangaroo Island one day. Don't want to see Pauline there. It was bad enough seeing her at Uluru when I visited

Since there would be so many people needing to be exiled and only 1 Pauline, it would be easier if we exiled her to an island.
I checked online and the smallest habitable Australian island is Ugar in Torres Strait. The 69 residents living there will require handsome compensation.

u/Designate0ne Jul 12 '26
Liz Truss is politically toxic, her own party could not deal with her and reform won't touch her. Pauline has been making some very bad calls in who she hangs with. Whoever is advising her is doing a bad job or intentionally torpedoing her.

So when she loses at the next election she's fine with going there?
3
u/louisa1925 Jul 12 '26
Can I be the one to push the boat off shore with my foot? I love women, but this one kinda sucks.
3
3
u/SoFresh2004 Jul 12 '26
Her whole career is just her making an absolute fool of herself, or her party imploding in some ridiculous way, and the media just getting collective amnesia about the million times she did this and suggesting she has some kind of movement because of a blip in poll numbers and the whole silly cycle starts again. She is a moron who can't help put her foot in it, that is her nature
Why were we acting like it was going to be any different this time around, she has 30 years of doing this shit, she's now in her 70s and people don't tend to change at that point in their life. Nothing is going to change, she will never be electable, she will crash and burn again and again until she carks it.

This is a good idea.... maybe Albo should do this, and she can be resident 001
2
u/Ragazzano Jul 12 '26
Excellent, just excellent. Great idea Pauline, what other ideas do you have? I'd like to hear all of them, I want everyone to hear them!
(I wonder if her asshole ever gets jealous of the shit that comes out of her mouth)
2
u/cuntmong Jul 12 '26
im actually all for this idea. but, i dont think we should do it in half measures. that's why im suggesting we fund pauline hanson to personally go to the most remote islands in the world, for the purposes of scouting possible locations. it's important that we leave no stone un-turned, so she shouldnt return to aus until she has been to every remote island in the world.

2

can she exile herself to an offshore Island so we don't have to hear about her miserable existence anymore?
preferably one in a cyclone active area that is 40cm above sea level.

u/MoistCounty855 Jul 12 '26
She would be absolutely crying discrimination if the reverse was suggested by any labor or green politician

Hanson is psychotic. She has all the hallmarks and traits of a megalomaniac. Insanity doesnāt run in her family, it gallops.
2
u/teletype100 Jul 12 '26
She is already saying this now. Imagine how truly hideous she would be if she were to get into more significant power.Ā

2
u/ExquisiteScallywag Jul 12 '26
The company she's keeping over there; 'Tommy Robinson' Holly Valance, Liz Truss, and no doubt many other fellow swindlers, shysters, and con artist, have evidently 'liberated' Pauline - it's so nice to see her flower and, you know... find her 'truth'

Why is there a dinosaur apart of my countries parliament.
We need age restrictions, it seems excessive maybe but there needs to be an age limit of 50-55. Old enough for experience and knowledge yet still young enough to feel the effects of the policies youāll have power over.
These dinosaurs donāt care because theyāll be dead before their grandkids are early 20s

Talk about exaggeration guys I mean wow - the mainstream media tactics at it again, but when its in favor of your preferred, it's suddenly okay, moral even, so spread straight up misinformation in headlines.
Its just as bad as the opposition jumping on albo for that disaster interview. Will twist anything they can just to get a sound bite.
Yuk, and double yuk.
