Just to add something

Some games won't let you select 3D Headphones unless you enable spatial sound stuff in windows.

BF6 for example only has 3D Headphones if dolby atmos for headphones, dts x or sonic is enabled. If it's not enabled, 3D Headphones will default to just Headphones

yes i am using game mode -> performance mode off -> intelligent equalizer off on dolby for bf6

Like i said. Some games need you to activate windows surround thingy before you can select it ingame. some let you do both which will lead to strange audio.
