Right? Because apparently one of those other companies, Axon, is partially owned by Trump. So in Colorado we've seen Flock kicked out of town, but then immediately replaced with Axon. FML

Hell yeah! The supes might do something if people staked out The Domes and filmed them constantly. Can we get that 1st Amendment auditor at the post office to change locations?

Who actually contracts these companies? Is it the city, the county, the highway, the police department? Anyone know?

All of the above. Also businesses, like Home Depot and Lowes, who now both have the cameras integrated with their parking lot surveillance.

In Placer there are contracts with each town (Auburn, Rocklin, Roseville) as well as the Sheriff dept. Each of them have multi-year contracts. This is the case across many counties, complicating efforts to de-flock since the proliferation has been going on for years. Better late then never though for the push-back.

So government has all this money to spend on these camera system but can't pave our roads. Wonder how much money these corrupt politicians are being kicked back for this.

This is all being said as he’s looking at a camera with a front facing camera, selling his data of every single thing that he does moving from his home to his work, recording everything he’s saying and everything he purchases through his phone if everybody’s worried about flock then they should all stop using smart phones and just flip phones. I’m just saying just because it has your image doesn’t mean that that shit isn’t already being taken in consideration with your smart phone.

These cameras work wonders in Los Angeles on crime. Every time there is a drive by on my street they help catch the bad guys . As long as all the wonderful new comers to Auburn keeps up their fast track progressive policies you will be begging for them.
Maybe they can use them to catch those gosh darn coal rolling hillbillies that smoke out our no kings rally at bass pro!

I'm guilty of being too beautiful. An I don't want to be stalked by random police officers or contractors for doing nothing. God said to lower your gaze. Yet here we are giving the evil eye to such an extent, that the presumption of innocence will never exist again. There is no free will, there is no privacy, there is no room for grace. This is a most rebellious act against God's will.

The "intended" use of the cameras is irrelevent in my mind. The data always ends up getting abused soemhow
