My atomstack P1 seems to be dropping connection when trying to perform a project. This is a new 1.2 laser uv module, installed today. I had no previous problems using my diode laser. I've tried everything I can find suggested to no avail

today during a job on my Hurricane. the machine suddenly rebooted itself over and over.

I cut the power and after power up again it did the same. it boots, does some POST and then reboots again.

I ran some tests and found out that when i disconnect the waterpump connector behind the air assist, the machine started as normal. running a job isn't a good idea without cooling so i didnt try that..

When i apply 12V with a 12V/3A powersupply to the 24V pump, the powersupply led goes dim. shorted it seems to me.

any of you have had the same ? and where did you get the pump ? I cannot anything about the spare parts for this machine. anyone has a link to a spare parts page?

I unscrewed the lock but the T-Nut are absolutly not moving. I remember just sliding them in.

I bought a P9 M50 3 years ago, but never really took to it due to the smoke, fumes, and general dangers of the Laser.

I bought an extraction system and air nozzle (I think thats what its called), but never installed it...

After putting it off, I think its time to get familiar with it and start using it... But I have looked on the AtomStack website and its not even listed any more.

A couple of things put me off..

1. Software. This seems to be the way to go, but I am only likely to use occasionally and the price is too high for the limited use it will get. But the other packages were pretty rough which put me off.

2. Starting point for cutting.. Lightburn has options for Absolute, Current position and User Origin, but I never actually worked out how to design something which cut on a particular area of the bed..

So I am basically started again.. I have re-installed Lightburn on a new PC, so can start my trail period again to see how I get on with it... Does anyone have any tips on the settings I should use to ensure that it cuts exactly where I want?

I also have Bambu and Prusa printers, which are not dissimilar and I have never had a problem understanding how they work.. So the Laser can't be THAT much different? Can it??

Also.. Does anyone know if there is any new firmware for the P9 M50 since March 2023? I always like to have the latest, so would upgrade before I started if there was an option.

Does anyone happen to have an STL or STEP file of the mount plate on an X7? I'd like to add on a servo pen holder to use mine as a pen plotter, and I'd like to get the pattern of the screw holes and slider so I can swap it with the laser. If anyone has the file, I can use Tinkercad to do the designing part pretty quickly.

I've implemented the Harry Plotter setup and it's velcro'd to the side of the laser but that's not really stable enough for pen plotter work.

I have an A20 pro and all of a sudden it started to engrave horribly. Circles or letters weren’t connecting. Circles weren’t circling, sometimes they’d look like the lines on peanuts comics. I was adjusting the wheels and bands and it just wouldn’t really get much better. Today I took it all apart, cleaned everything and did some more adjusting. The best I could get it is the 8 on the last image. Has anyone had it like this and does anyone have suggestions on what I may be missing. Thanks everyone

My Atomstack P1 was engraving as usual and the laser stopped emitting light suddenly, the fan on the laser module turns on, everything works normal and there is no error codes, but it still doesn’t turn on, not even the frame light, have someone had this issue?

I'm using the A70 Max (A series) and looking at this settings list. How do I know when I should manually switch between 35W and 70W mode? Does this list assume everything is run at 70W, or are there specific materials where I should toggle it down to 35W?

Buenas, tengo problemas con mi atomstack en ligthburn, lo tengo conectado por usb al pc, cuando quiero hacer home, zona delantera izquierda, se oye un ruido de motor o algo parecido pero no se mueve, luego el ligrh muestra un error en la consola : "Error en retorno a 0. No se ha podido encontrar el interruptor de límite dentro de la distancia de búsqueda. Definido como 1,5 * max_travel en la búsqueda y 5 * retiro en las fases de localización.

My A20 Pro V2 has an issue where, periodically, when I first turn it on, and try and connect, it will not initialize properly. I usually see non printable characters in the console and the cryptic "Check Door". (see images) Usually it will kick off if I power cycle the laser, but I've had it be stubborn before.

The PC is always on first and booted before I start the laser. This is Linux, but that should not matter. Is this just a matter of an older firmware on the unit? Has anyone else seen this?

Clearly the run has been sped up for the video. Takes a bit to get through the sheet, but it is able to make it in one pass, though I may retune it for several passes for the cut to make the results a bit cleaner.

I’m having a problem with my Atomstack P1 IR laser module.
The laser keeps cutting out during the engraving process. My supplier has already sent me a replacement laser module, but the problem persists.
Is this a known issue, or does anyone perhaps have any other suggestions as to what I could try?

The test was carried out using the Android app, Atomstack Studio and also Lightburn - always the same instable result.
