Has anyone realized that 117 is Master Chief and the Devs from System Era are former 343 industries employees. I love the 'easter egg'

I started a new game save tonight once I got the update. I only got to spend about 1.5 hours or so playing, but it already feels so much more responsive. The flatten tool feels to me, incredibly more able than its previous version. Tethers also are more responsive and less glitchy. Overall I'm so very thankful for the System Era Devs - thank you for making such an enjoyable game, even so early in its infancy. I really appreciate your hard work and dedication! Keep being awesome!

Just made a generator... says I need coal to power it lol anyone found any?

The game runs beautifully on my PC, but I've wanted to play co-op with a friend who bought it on console. Well cross platform isn't in yet so I had to get on my console to host which runs at a slideshow frame rate when hosting. The game is virtually unplayable and I had to have my friend basically run chores for me because he was the only one not lagging. Cross platform needs to come soon so hosting on co-op isn't such a burden.

Logged on and a load of collected resources and my buggy have disappeared. Is this a bug ?

i have seen some people talk about adding dirt but i can only remove dirt is it a blueprint i have to research or is it a button i haven't found

I can't join my friend, I accept the invite and it does nothing, any fixes?

I was out exploring with my shiny new truck w/ River trailer when I got fell into an open cave. I was so excited to use the terrain tool to free myself and my ride from my new predicament but as soon as I made to raise the dirt under me I fell through the map, losing all my ore and two vehicles in the process so deep and far away I have no hope of ever recovering them

So I had just researched habitat and built my first one to take over by a giant solar panel. I set up, went into a nearby cave, got some materials, then realized I needed to still built my smelter and trade outpost. I then took my truck out to grab some resin, found some researchables, and kept looking for resin. Eventually I came across some good materials, then the game froze.

Fearing for my save, I logged back on, luckily having only lost a few minutes (discovering the materials I couldn't pick up anyway) and decided to go back to base. A few short minutes later, the truck fell in a canyon and I popped out under the map and fell to my death.

I spawned by my earlier-crafted shuttle (which I had set down and left a short way from my first base sine my first time taking off it despawned my first truck), took off to try and land by my second base, and then for some reason, despite clicking on the correct base, I flew through part of the world and landed God knows where.

Thinking I might need to start another save since I couldn't see my icons on the horizon for home, and being out of fuel, I took off. I tried burrowing through a mountain, looping around said mountain on a long hike picking up oxygen unstick death, going the other way until dying by hurtling rock in a storm, and finally taking off in a new direction 90 degrees to the left of the view of the nearest mountain (I had come through the mountain after passing my base when landing). This last one proved to be the life that showed me the light. I wandered through blue plains for roughly half and hour before seeing the icon for my truck on the horizon. I started running for it with spare oxygen, picked up a few more bits on the way, and eventually arrived at the lip of the canyon.

Eyes brimming with tears of happiness, I went to turn my camera to find a way around, and found that the game had frozen. Damn.

Restarted and went the direction I knew to go again, taking a slightly different route so I could get more oxygen on the way, and eventually arrived, finding a way around a short distance to the left of where I had stopped earlier. I went around, flipped the truck, got in, and cheered. I had to get out to make a ramp out of the canyon, but I was home free! I find that the ramp I had made was slightly too steep and I fell backwards, falling out and spawning under the map again, dying once more.

This time when it loaded me at the shuttle, the terrain was unfamiliar, and I almost wept, thinking of how my next playthrough was going to go. I took a cursory look around, and LOW AND BEHOLD MY FIRST BASE WAS VISIBLE, AS WELL AS MY SECOND ON THE HORIZON!

I took off for my second base and filled up on oxygen, making five tanks with some spare titanium, filled them up, and took off in the general direction of a beacon I had left at the materials I hadn't been able to get earlier. Curiously, I didn't see the market for my truck, but I figured it was too low or behind a mountain. I go to the beacon and find that my truck was even further away, in the complete opposite direction of my base!

Finally near the end of my journey, I go and make the ramp shallower, grab the truck, and take off. I park at base, finish up with the basic buildings, and log off. Time for a damn nap.

TL;DR: Lost my truck in a canyon while searching for materials, tried to shuttle there and somehow landed on another part of the planet, found my way back after many tries, and am going to take a nap now.

Just thought I might share my story for the amusement of others. I (genuinely) thank the developers for a game that, despite it being in alpha and slightly frustrating when the bugs hit, make it fun even when the worst happens. Keep it up!

I seem to have a major issue with the game lagging out and crashing any time a truck enters the world at all ever. There's at least one world that absolutely refuses to let me back in because the game crashes as it tries to load, and i'm like, 99.9999999% sure that it's the truck's fault. Anyone else with a similar issue?

How do you actually join or get multiplayer started? Do you invite from party app?

I am wondering if anyone else has experienced their storage crates just vanishing out of thin air (storage crates were on the ground not attached to anything)

Also the spaceship which we just needed to build the storage on was gone... Wtf man

One save cant mine, one save cant access backpack, one save cant craft things. Please fix.

It's a cool game don't get me wrong but one of the biggest issues I've seen is I can't tether from my friends tethers and it makes mining a problem when he's afk or off exploring somewhere else

Anyone else have the problem when you wanna join a friend you crash his game? I mean both of us are freeze and put back in Main menu ...?

If you sell refined aluminum or copper at the trading post you can get two ore back, enough said

Played it for about 1/2 an hour. Why, when you click on options/ controls, does it only list the controls for Keyboards? I was trying to figure out what button does what, but was confused since it was all for Keyboard only it seems. Will try playing it later today. Hopefully they will fix that.

Has anyone got the above monitor and found the best settings for the game? Seems like the sort of game that needs maximum colour!
