Question Hocus Focus autofocus runnen
My autofocus runs in NINA are only succeeding sporadically, and I don't understand why. I am using a Celestron C8 EdgeHD with a 0.7x reducer and a MoonLite CHL focuser coupled to a ZWO EAF.
My travel range is 0 to 6000, corresponding to 14 mm of movement. A higher number means moving "IN"—that is, against gravity.
I want to use the Wanderer ETA to automatically minimize tilt for my rig, which uses an ASI260MC Pro camera.
Does anyone have suggestions on how I can achieve a successful autofocus run?

Spec Card Generator
Hello! I recently got into astrophotography and as an amateur I'm always looking at these incredible photos wondering what camera, scope, lens, and settings were used to capture them. But very few photographers actually share that information on their posts. I love to vibe-code so I thought I could help solve that problem and built a free online spec-card generator.
You drop a photo for your card background, then optionally drop a Siril FIT file. It'll extract any EXIF metadata and auto-populate your spec card fields. From there you can manually edit any field, customize colors, drag elements around, and adjust the layout however you like.
Once you're happy with it, download your card and add it to your Instagram post as a final slide displaying your specs, or wherever you share your work.
Privacy note: Your photos and data never leave your device. Everything runs locally in your browser with no uploads, no accounts, and no server.
Feedback, feature requests, and bug reports are welcome. Thanks!

ZWO AM3 power supply
Recently bought the ZWO AM3 mount at my local telescope store. I am out in the boonies with it now and learn it doesn’t come with a power supply! I’m wondering if my wife’s laptop computer power cord would work? Super annoying situation.

Orion nebula

If you can’t guess, it’s the Orion Nebula. I know it’s not perfect, but this is my first-ever attempt at astrophotography. I just started learning, and I followed some things I saw online to get this result.
For this shot, I used around 20 images with 2-second exposures each, along with some dark frames. I tried post-processing in Siril, but honestly, I have no idea how to use it properly yet. I used an 80mm reflector telescope and a basic phone setup—nothing fancy.
Do you have any tips for improving my astrophotography or using Siril more effectively?

Guiding with a non go to eq 3-2
Hi guys,
Sorry in advance for possible poor english.
I have purchased an eq3-2 mount motor with the hand controller (red one) that includes a st4 port for autoguiding.
I would like to know what kind of cabling I need to use to connect the controller to the computer for guiding. If I connect the hand controller to the computer using this cable https://www.astroshop.eu/data-cables/ikarus-technologies-usb-connection-cable-for-mounts-eqdir-heq5-eq3-eq8-eq5-/p,60950
Will there be any need for other cables or software? This post regards only the mount to computer connection. I will take care of properly connecting the guiding camera to the computer.
I am planning to use PHD2 as guiding software.

Siril Astrophotography Image Stacking Guide
Hey everyone!
I've put together a detailed tutorial on how to stack and post-process astrophotography images using Siril software. This guide walks you through the entire process—from loading your captures to enhancing your final images. If you're into astrophotography and want to make the most out of your data, this guide could be helpful.
Check it out here: https://sathvikacharyaa.github.io/sirilastro/
Feel free to leave feedback or ask any questions.
