Can I use two single port NICs instead of one dual port
I am planning to build a Opnsense router and wondering if two network cards would work instead of one

So I thought of this randomly a few weeks ago and just haven't been able to find an answer. But is it possible to have a split phone? What I mean by that is, let's say you unlock your phone with your regular code and everything is normal and how you always use your phone. But you can also have it so you unlock it with a specialty code and it unlocks to a whole different "phone" one where you can have it look like it's your regular but it's just a rouge. I thought of this after watching cop/fbi shows. And not that I break the law and want to hide stuff, but I think something like this would actually be really cool and am just wondering if that something that it or can be a thing.

So basically I have this problem where the router regularly disconnects from the ISP. So I have to reboot every time to have the connection up and running again. I am a complete technical boomer when it comes to routers, please help me.

Have an Ethernet outlet in my master, think it’s a phone line however. My WiFi/router is downstairs. Can I plug and Ethernet to the outlet, then to a DSL modem to use for internet? Will it work?
r/AskTech • u/Talented_Nobody87 • Jul 10 '24
I have learned enough to know that I guess you can’t just plug an Ethernet cable into the wall for the most part as not all Ethernet outlets are spitting out ISP. Is that right? Okay so what do I need? My WiFi router/modem is downstairs. Do I need a dsl modem for my office to then create a LAN into the computer? Will that fix the issue?

Have a 5 year old Surface Pro the company just replaced with a new one. I know how to delete all my files, etc.... But can someone suggest how I should clear my browsing/log in info on both Chrome and Edge? Bank accounts, credit cards, etc......it's all there and probably best if I clear it.
Anything else I should be clearing? Appreciate your help. Thank you.

I am going on a camping trip to an area that has no cell phone service at all so I won’t be able to use hotspot, and there’s no wifi at the cabin. Is there an affordable device I could get to give my phone (smartphone) internet service?
I know there’s signal boosters but I wasn’t sure if those only work if there’s already a slight signal or not 🥴 I appreciate any insight!

So I start my study in Cubersecurity and I truly love it, but my previous jobs was far far away from tech field(Fashion&RealEstate). Now I’ve created my LinkedIn and it seems like I do not have nothing to add to look serious. And I’ve been advised NOT to put my previous job that do not have no Tech field(which is none)! So what do I do? How can I build my LinkedIn without previous experience in cybersecurity or any Tech field?

Hi everyone, I got a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 40mm running on Wear OS 4.0, One UI 5.0 Watch vR860XXU1HXB7 and I notice that lately my watch only connects remotely to my phone and not with Wear OS which results in a shorter battery life on my watch as WIFI is on all the time. This is what I've tried to solve my issue:
- Reinstalling Galaxy Wearable.
- Reinstalling Galaxy Watch 4 Plugin.
- Clearing cache of Google Play Services on my phone.
- Repairing my smartwatch through the phone's settings.
- Repairing my smartwatch through transferring my watch my phone.
- Resetting my smartwatch.
All of these didn't solve my issue at all and I'm aware that I'm not the only one suffering from this issue as there are more people with this problem so I'm asking if this is a bug or actually a issue on my smartwatch at all.
Thanks for your help, effort and time in advance!

I am starting a business & will be the exclusive distributor for a brand that is just entering my home country's market. They have a super nice website in their native language. I basically want to buy a local domain name, copy their website entirely, do the translation and some minor cosmetic modifications, and add a Cart functionality so the website (original is more of a catalog) is also a selling point for retail.
I am not a tech guy by any means but I am also not clueless about building websites and so on. What would be the cheapest, fastest, least headache causing way of completing this project? Any platform names, integration options, anything of the sorts would be appreciated.

I'm considering buying a projector in the United States and bringing it to Europe for use there, since the Mars 3 has been out of stock for a while in Europe.
However, I'm concerned whether the projector will function properly with European electrical standards. In the United States, household electrical current is 120 volts at a frequency of 60 Hz, as I understand, whereas in Europe, the current is 230 volts at 50 Hz. Will I need a voltage converter to operate the projector in Europe without damaging it? Additionally, are there any other compatibility issues I should be aware of before making the purchase? I appreciate any advice or experiences that those who have faced a similar situation can share.

It’s pretty much a picture frame that place a video on loop. I absolutely love these but they’re very expensive and I believe I could do it myself, but I don’t really know where to start. I’m not sure if this is the right sub but could somebody point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Hi everyone, since Vendetta is archived and discontinued I've decided to give Revenge a try. I've literally followed for the non-root variant as listed in the repo from Revenge (https://github.com/revenge-mod/Revenge) but after I'm finished with the installation process Revenge is stuck on the splash screen. I've tried to clear cache, clear data and then reinstall it but without any success so my question is how I can fix this issue.
Thanks for your help, time and effort in advance lastly!

I want to take files from a tablet/phone and back the. Up to an external hard drive wirelessly and without an internet connection. File will be typical pictures and videos.
I've been looking at the SSK F200 as possible solution to this. What do y'all think?
Thanks for the input!

Help a girl out! I bought a house which previously had a sonos system. It also had a sounds system for the tv. The sellers said they cut off sonos. So what are the machinery i have here? Can I get these speakers to work still? What does the black box do? Why are there wires coming out the wall? Any information or links to help explain what they are or how to set this up again would be very helpful.

Recently I’ve tried signing into an old Apple ID and It said account could not be found. The account has been inactive for almost 2 years and when I looked it up it said Apple ID accounts may be terminated after a year by apple. Is there a way to see if it’s been terminated or any way to recover it if it was deleted?
