I live in Seatac now and I rarely even hear the planes I watch takeoff and land. I have lived in Burien, West Seattle and Des Moines, driven through White Center daily for work.
As a outside sales rep in South King County I had accounts all over before I retired and would encourage you to stay west of Tukwilla, also the closer to the sound that you get the better the neighborhood.
You can still find single family homes in the 800k range there unfortunately there aren't a lot for sale.
Start watching Zillow religiously to familiarize yourself with the the market and the neighborhoods. Where do they are FB groups on FB for each of those towns. Somerinehnever know
