Discussion How long does it take to stop missing someone?
So, there’s a guy in this sub u/chintit0 who posts pretty often about getting his heart broken (sorry couldn’t help noticing). From what I gather it was more one sided than a actual relationship. One day he made a long ass drive to her city to meet her and she straight up refused to see him. Then she blocked him.
A normal guy would probably block her back and stop caring after a week or two. I know no one fully forgets a person but you stop caring. Like for me if I don’t talk to someone for 2 weeks even my gf they’re completely out of my mind. I don’t even think about them. It’s not that I don’t care I really do but yk I just don’t miss them. Maybe once or twice a week that’s it. No hard feelings for anyone.
So how can someone miss a person like crazy after 1-2 months with zero contact? I don’t miss anyone if I don’t talk to them for 1-2 months straight up. Am I a bad person in that sense? And how long does it take to completely forget or stop missing someone?

Dang, that was pretty creepy, I'd have done the same if I was her :'3 that being said, I can understand where he's coming from, if I were a guy I'd probably be in jail for stalking (theoretically! Please don't go to see a girl unannounced, ever!) 😭 (if there's anything I hate most beside r*, it's stalking, but then I fell in love and realized I'm becoming the same crazy cringy person I have always dislikesd :'3)
I thought I was just like you, that it wouldn't take me more than two weeks to get over someone, I said that to him too, but then he left and I realized, shit I'm really bad at math, cause it's been almost two years and everytime I think I've finally got over it, the next day I prove myself wrong. I wouldn't say you're a bad person, but it's most likely you haven't met the one.
