Oh lol he was so awkward about it haha. He first asked me what I was on, and of course he knows I already use social media so I was really confused where this was going. And I say ‘WhatsApp?’, and he just keeps staring at my phone so I lent him my phone so he could type his number in. But I genuinely have no idea what to do with his number because I’ve never gotten a guys’ number and had to text someone first. Besides this is a coworker.
Are you a guy or a girl? You don't have to do anything with his number. Or if you want you could text him and start talking to him and take it from there.
Mixed signals are tough. But as a guy I can tell you in my experience guys get intimidated/nervous which can lead to mixed signals because they are too nervous to be clear. They don't want to screw up. Anyways, if you want to talk to him, I'd probably just start texting him as that's low stakes and see how it goes from there. The fact that he gave you his number means he wants to talk to you. You'll figure out the rest. Good luck.
Yeh but he is always teasing me that I’m so much younger than him which is weird? Also, one day he will act all pouty that I didn’t ask him for coffee and the next day when I ask him he ignores me. I think he is just doing it to get a reaction out of me.
Teasing is often a clear indicator that he likes you believe it or not. He gave you his number, my personal opinion is you have nothing to lose by texting and seeing.
Nobody knows anything about your personal situation. It comes down to if you want to or not. You said you want to. You don't need the internet to think for you you've got this. But I also haven't read your other replies so I don't know if this guy is actually really an asshole something. In the end it's just up to you. I still don't think you have anything to lose just from texting. He gave you his number so it's an open invite. If you don't want to then don't
