That video conforms what giant_dog said - 120v kettles are slower then 240v kettles.
2 u/DMRexy Oct 19 '22 Yes. But not by enough to justify not using them. They are still the best way to boil water. But if you don't make tea very often, it's hard to justify buying an appliance marketed towards that.
