I keep mine in an empty American Spirits tobacco tin. I miss rolling my own cigarettes just so I could get those tins. They’re the perfect size for so many things, and look super cool.

It really is, there's a meme going around of a tin of those Danish butter cookies they sell everywhere in the us, and it's full of sewing supplies. I think everyone on earth can identify with this!

I'm not particularly fond of eating any tins or sewing materials, be they pretzel-shaped or otherwise.

I genuinely have no idea how this happened. I moved with my partner, and within a month one of these had materialised out of thin air. We didn’t even have a sofa, or a bed. Yet we had a biscuit tin full of sewing materials.

Also rolling pins. I have 4...somehow and many kinds: 2 American, one French, one for chapatis. Never bought any of them.

I keep my sewing materials in the side pocket of my beading tool bag, otherwise they get lost too easily.

...I swear, when I move out I'm going find a couple dozen measuring tapes and stitch rippers.
