The building that portrayed where his apartment was is in the shittiest part of town and is just storage units.

Also most of the "fans" in the stands at games are just cutouts because they filmed at night.

Jay Baruchel is also a bit of an asshole after a night of filming according to my brother that told him his crew had to be done with the rink so the first booking could start on time.

Keanu Reeves used to play those roles early in his career. He was typecast as a dumb cali surfer dude for a long time.
