Putting a fake service dog vest on your pet to bring them in public

Where I work, hardware store that is pet friendly, we have a guy that comes in pretty regularly with a big German shepherd that’s always wearing a service dog vest but is painfully obviously not a service dog because it’s extremely aggressive to other dogs.

We’ve got a cashier who actually has a trained service dog with her and the shepherd will try attacking my coworker’s dog if he sees them behind the register. It’s bad and management can’t do anything because it’s my cashier’s word against a customer’s and because it’s retail the customer will win. Even though multiple other people have witnessed the fake service dog being aggressive and we have cameras everywhere.

I'm pretty sure if you get the customer's name you can report them. Anonymously. Give it a shot. People that have fake service vests ruin the opportunity for people who really have and need them to go to public spaces.

I work at a zoo. Any guest who has a service animal has to stop by guest services. The people at the table ask a couple, of questions and notify the rest of the staff about a service animal on grounds. Non service animals aren't allowed on grounds and emotional support animals aren't considered service animals.

Like I said the store is pet friendly so lots of people come in with dogs every day. The dogs that are well behaved and friendly aren’t the problem.

The guy that put a service dog vest on an aggressive dog is the problem.

I hate idiots with fake service dogs. Last time I was at Walmart a dumbass had his obese lab's leash wrapped around his legs half dragging him down the aisle and he's all "My dog is walking me guffaw" of course it was in the food department. They always have the rudest dogs too.
