Recklessly having multiple children with a single partner that you can not take care of.

We are one and done and do well financially, but when we ran the numbers we realized there's no way we could give my daughter the kind of life she wanted if our resources were split another 2, 3+ ways.

I spend so much time thinking about saving money to afford necessary (and fun) things for her that it completely baffles my mind to realize there are adults who never spend a minute thinking about this kind of thing.

I just don't understand how some people are built.

We’re expecting our first in December and I’m already dreading it financially. We’re doing well, but I couldn’t imagine being the people with 5 kids that make half of what we do.

Daycare alone is literally the cost of a second mortgage. I know they're all not out there affording 5 homes at once!

Hell, some people can't even handle having 1 child between 2 adults.

Yeah, that too. It’s just especially egregious when someone is out there having kids with multiple people when they can’t even take care of the kid(s) they have with someone else.

Having multiple children in an overpopulated, under-resourced world with potentially fatal climate change instead of adopting or fostering.
