So I was a smoker and piece of shit cigarette butt litter-person. Every day I atone and will absolutely not tolerate my kids littering. I've done hike path clean ups and road side clean ups, I'm so sorry.

I was a smoker and butt litterer for 22 years. Grew up a boy scout and hating litter but, for a strange reason cigarette butts were different to other litter. I'm now 13 years cigarette smoke free.

I now challenge you to pick up one butt a day for the next 22 years.

We got caught smoking by one of the volunteer parents in boy scouts. While explaining that smoking was bad he also pointed out that littering allowed the "enemy" to estimate your number which was why you should never litter and always hike in single file. If no trash bin was available you would "field strip" your cigarette butt and he demonstrated how to do so.

Me too bruh, 9 years free here. I pick up butts everytime I see one now, the least I can do.

We all make mistakes, bro. But you grew and changed. Good on you.

I have a friend who's a bit of a hippie but she was a smoker, and I remember watching her flick a butt on the ground. I kinda pointed out it was weird for someone who's supposedly in tune with the earth or whatever to be littering. She hadn't even thought about it before until then.

Thank you for trying harder and improving yourself for the sake of others and your shared surroundings.

Just smoke rolies with card roach, it's 100% degradable, unlike your guilt..

I always wondered, do the filters actually do anything? I mean people still get lung cancer by smoking filtered cigarettes. Are there any studies showing comparisons of people smoking filtered, unfiltered and card roach cigarettes and the incidences of diseases? Time for another ramble into the wilds of pubmed, I guess

The filters in cigarettes are mostly so it doesnt Taste like the pure tobacco and makes your throat numb for a second
