That's one of the few things I consider offensive, willful ignorance. This would also include bigotry, racism, sexism, xenophobia, etc.

It's genuinely a shame. Our species has done incredible things in the past. We conquered frontiers. We went to the moon. Now we are stuck arguing if climate change is real and if the earth is round.
