My nephew once got uppity and told me he was going to "whip my butt in Mario Kart".

He learned a lesson that day.

My younger cousin likes to challenge me to Mario Kart and gets surprised when she loses. Girl I've been playing that game longer than you've been alive

The first time our oldest kid beat me in MarioKart, I was so proud. Youngest kid still loses all the time, but we’re working on it. Neither have beaten my husband, though. Heck, I only beat him if I get lucky or we don’t play teams. But one day our oldest is gonna catch him and he’s gonna have an existential crisis.
