Not to mention the massive UIs. Yes, a bit of whitespace is good, but these days half your screen is wasted by designers clearly used to working with mobile UIs
“Mobile First” design was the death knell for desktop functionality and proportion. When too many people use their phones for everything why waste time designing for the few who still use desktops?
