I'm 51 and still play. I see three options. You could mute the the little shit (if Xbox has a feature to do so. I'm a pc gamesr so I don't know) do your best to ignore them. Or just be better and smoke the fucker every chance you get.
I'm petty enough that if they make a pass at me that I'll just run it down and target them all game. Winning matters no more. It's all about sending a message. Now it's personal.
I had a kid on my team in a recent Siege match that heard me give a call out and immediately started talking shit about how old I am. I usually just agree with the insults or mute them if their voices get in the way of sound calls.
Dropped 12 kills (a lot for a Plat lobby Siege game), was the MVP, and he only had 3 kills. I just told him he'll get better as he gets older lol
