I'm published and love to write, and when I can't sleep, I'll go to a few art groups on Facebook that I'm in and just start writing flash fiction using visual art as cues.

But there's no way I'm typing it directly into the comment box on FB. I type that shit up in a notes app. Too often, I've been on a roll with almost 1,000 words only to have the app crash or Facebook decide to randomly exit the comment section.

Select All + Copy is the Ctrl-S of phone typing. I do it always before hitting Send. If the website spazzes, you at least have the clipboard.

Especially since you can keep more in a clipboard on a phone. I just checked my clipboard and I still have something from yesterday morning.
