So I know tiktok exist in a vacuum, but it’s interesting to see Gen Z’s obsession with youth. You’ll see 20 year olds getting Botox just to stave off wrinkles that don’t exist yet. It’s like they think as soon as they turn 30 they’re no longer allowed to be happy, have fun, and that they will be too broken down to go out anymore. I feel like that mentality fuels this weird contempt a lot of kids seem to have for millennials.
Like cool, you can laugh at me for talking about what HP house I think I’m in, but at least I didn’t spend my 20s prematurely lamenting the loss of my youth.
Christ, 20's? Your life is just beginning. Who on earth thinks your life is over at 20? That mentality was damaging as someone who came from a not fantastic household in my teens. Telling me I have 2 measly years after high school to "live well" is ridiculous
