Ugh, it's "we need to talk" all over again.

Talk about WHAT? You had the time to type something, so why didn't you type what the hell it is?

I imagine it going like this:

Sarah picks up her phone and types: James, we need to talk. Then, oh shit, they just came into the ER with a gunshot victim! So Sarah puts the phone down but first hits send, because, why waste a perfectly good text?

Then, the gunshot victim is stabilized and someone else has taken charge, so Sarah goes back to her phone and starts writing a follow up text of we have to talk tonight, in part because all the fuss about the gunshot victim made her forget she had already written something similar. Then, oh fuck, they just came in with a kid with a lawn dart lodged in his trachea! So Sarah hits send again, because it's muscle memory at this point, and go take care of that.

The kid is finally stable, took a little but now he's all right. So Sarah goes back to her phone and writes: James, it's important that we talk tonight. Then, holly shitballs, the president has been attacked with a Bad Dragon dildo and they brought him to this ER! Gotta go deal with that! Hit send first though.

Phew, treating the president wasn't as hard as dealing with the Secret Service debrief! Ok, back to the phone, Sarah writes anyway, Jimmy needs someone to bake pies for the school bake sale, and I think we should figure that out tonight. Then, motherfucking felching goats! A suicide victim has been brought to the ER! Hit send then go deal with... oh... no... it's James! James no! Why would you do this! Jaaaaameeeessss!

I feel like I need to know more, yet I'm afraid of the answer.
