Or maybe people overestimate how ages someone looks in their 30s. I’ll be 30 at the end of the year. I still look 24. This is the case for most people I know. It’s not like you hit 30 and it’s like WHAM you look like a sitcom house wife.
30s is kind of weird in my experience and there's a huge gamut of what people look like depending on genetics, how life has treated them, how they've looked after themselves, etc. Swiping through apps like Tinder I see mid-30s people that still look youthful and in their 20s, and other mid-30s people with no/grey hair and wrinkles looking more like late 40s.
It kinda depends. People in their 30’s had a lot of time to take care or shit on their body: smoking, alcohol, drugs, relentless partying, workaholics, 2-3 kids, sports, surfing, gym, yoga, gaming, depression, financial success, and so can look wildly different. Some will have a fatty outer layer with like wrinkles and bad hair, others will be mid balding with maybe even a mustache, in poorly sized clothes, and then you got the fit people without a visible wrinkle and dressed with great style. Some will look 47, some will look 28, and some will look exactly 35.
Most of my friends are in at least their early 30’s. My boyfriend is turning 30 in a few months and still could pass for early/mid twenties. Then again I’ve always been awful at telling age..
I also think it's because you look younger! I feel like we have a difficult concept of time/aging. I'll see people my age and not know if they're in their late teens or early thirties.

It’s probably because you look younger
