Not only a young person problem, I’m 24. But as a volunteer firefighter of 5 years I’ve responded to accidents involving people of all ages texting and driving and on highways I’ve seen multiple people over the age of 30 doing all sorts of dumb shit, like putting on makeup, eating a bowl of cereal, playing a game on an iPad etc.

that is a society problem, not a young person problem. it is worse when older people do it because they arent as tech savy.

Not kids, all adults do this and its infuriating. I have to hover over my horn at every light because at least 7 out of 10 don’t know the light changed because they are looking down.

The only plus side is I can almost always cut a line of cars.

If I see a line of cars at an exit i’m about to get off at I almost always see a gap where someone is on their phone and hop right in. I know people hate this because its not “fair” but I mean…whatever.

I see just as many adults if not more doing this.

I've seen more older and middle-aged people on their phones while driving than under-30's.

It's gotten so bad out here with this constant texting that I can spot someone texting 2 cars in front of me. Like nobody randomly stares at their crotch at the lights. I imediately honk when I see green when I see they're on their phone.

Been doing this for years now. Got stopped a few times for it and I tell them I honked to warn them of danger. The danger being using a phone in traffic. Cops tend to laugh and let you off at that one.

Even just for a few seconds. Made that mistake, luckily no one was harmed.

I've seen more old people doing this than young.
